The village hall is used by local inhabitants for various activities such as Lunches, Coffee mornings, Meetings, Garden club, Pilates, Tai Chi, Line Dancing, Dances, Discos, Quizzes, Short Mat Bowls, some church services. The hall has a Alcohol licence used for certain events. The car park and adjacent field is also used for summer fund raising activities.It is a meeting place for the community.

Musical ARC is a unique ensemble of physically and sensory disabled and non-disabled musicians, who support disabled artists to be creative and to challenge notions of disability through professional performances and workshops. We create new, innovative and affective music and collaborate with other art forms such as dance, drama and story-telling, performing in various venues and settings.

Staxton Village is the non profit making village hall in Staxton & Wilerby, where community activities for all age groups can take part. the hall is for anyone to hire for community activities. We have regular old time dancing for the retired, and we provide a monthly two course lunch, and a monthly film show. The hall is maintained to a very high level and is admired by all visitors.

To advance, improve and maintain the education of the public in the arts, particularly the arts of drama, music, dance and film and to support the provision of improved facilities at Pocklington Arts Centre by fund raising, volunteering and enabling public to make use of the centre (particularly young people).

Dance Festival

The Sutton Hall serves the residents of Cleadon by hosting many activities for all ages! We hold a Bright Futures Group for girls, coffee mornings and AGE UK join us for dancing. We host several clubs during the week including craft clubs who have a sale once a year to show off their creations and all the money goes to charity. We hold many fitness clubs and have much more planned for the future.

Provision of Village Hall facilities for residents of Neasham and neighbouring parishes. Hosts annual Christmas Dance, regular activites such as Whist Clubs, dance clubs and private hire for children's parties, family celebrations etc. Used as Polling Stattion and for meeting of WI and Parish Council. Regular usage by keep fit group, history nights and coffee mornings

We provide a wide range of activities at the young peoples centre and also are continuing to improve the centre to enable user groups to continue to adapt to the needs of the wider community in Haughton Green, Denton.Activities covered include various sports , Healthy Eating, ICT Training, Arts , dancing, Morris and disco, social skills, parents and tots groups, Dog training club.

As a WI we have talks, demonstrations, outings, theatre trips fundraising events such as catering. Our Hall is rented out to different groups in the community for dancing, photography, patchwork, childrens parties, band practise etc.

Provide local community hall for ballet classes, pre school, horticultural society, WI, whist club & parties etc. Charity is responsible for maintenance of the hall.

Trustees administer hall for the benefit of the local community, i.e Nursery School, WI, Over 60's Club, Keep Fit, Brownies etc. Community Fund Raising Suppers, Childrens Parties, Dance Groups, Polling Station.

General fundraising through organising and arranging specific events such as a Golf day, Beer Festival, Comedy Events, Christmas Grotto, Dance in a Barn etc.

For the benefit of the people of Brandesburton and the surrounding area the Hall provides facilities for recreation and leisure time activities with the object of improving the life of residents. A community centre for activities including archery, music and dance, Scouting and meetings and also a venue for occasional parties, wedding receptions etc.

The Centre for Indian Classical Dance (CICD) specialises in promoting and teaching others about classical Indian dance forms. However we have now diversified into a wide range of dance forms from Bollywood to Hip-Hop. We teach, produce shows and nurture young talent to become professional dancers.
