Arts Charities That specialise in Dance

We are a community hall with a variety of activities taking place throughout the year. Activities and groups include mother and toddler classes, yoga, karate, keep fit and dance classes. We also rent the hall to parties, craft fayres and medium evenings.

A Rural Youth movement for young people aged 10-26yrs. Members can gain confidence and recognised Skills in Public Speaking, Sports Competitions, Drama and Entertainments, Stockjudging and Stockshowing/Presentation, Dancing, Duke of Edingburgh, meetings and social events, Fundraising.

Provision of accommodation for activities related to village societies, dance groups, private parties, parish meetings, church and village fund raising events,

Dance theatre and digital media theatrical productions, digital projects and educational workshops for young people.

To provide an adequate venue for the hire of the village for all user groups i.e. WI, old time dancing, Wednesday club, private parties etc.

Providing training and workshop material with particular emphasis on drama, dance, singing and movement. Weekly term time lessons culminating in an end of term performance. Other productions throughout the year in aid of local charities, taking drama and dance classes to outlying areas. Encouraging children and young people to be confident individuals through the boundaries of dramatic art.

Events run by committee for the Village- Film nights, Social evenings with food and drink, Dance evenings, Herbal workshops.

Fund raising events e.g. Christmas and Summer Fairs, coffee mornings to raise money to benefit the children in school. All money raised is used to purchase additional equipment for the children in school. It also funds workshop activities such as dance, drama, working with artists, etc.

The Laban Guild is a charitable organisation founded in 1946 to promote and advance the study of Laban-based movement and dance. The first President was Rudolf Laban.The charity promotes courses, masterclasses and events, in a diverse number of venues and educational settings and our magazine Movement, Dance & Drama magazine is produced 6 times a year for members/subscribers.

We let out our Hall for meetings and dancing activities. We support local charities with special needs and local hospitals.

We are a umbrella organization providing a meeting place, advice and support, to local people living or working in the Liverpool North Area. We also offer recreational activities for all residents of North Liverpool including childrens playgroups, health & fitness classes, pensioners social evenings, community gymnasium, dance classes and meeting rooms for all local associations

For the public benefit, to advance the education of looked after children (aged6-16) In the Dorset, Hampshire and Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area by the provision of opportunities to participate in Performing Arts, specifically singing, dance and drama.

Our fund raising activities are held in several venues with the area of Churchill & Blakedown but we attract interest from further afield. We try to vary our activities in order to appeal to all age groups, to date we have held;Concerts incl. tribute acts, Music & Laughter Show,annual Barn Dance, Dog Show & Fete, Afternoon Tea, Gin Tasting Experience etc.We are always looking for new ideas.

Bucks Cross Village Hall provides a venue for community activities including meetings, art classes, quilting, computer classes, dancing classes, a gardening club and various social/fund raising events.

Creating and performing new theatrical events to advance public education, appreciation and understanding of the arts of historical music and dance, highlighting the rich, innovative and diverse nature of the London stage in the early 1700s. Videos of these performances have been edited and are used as educational tools. Workshops on various aspects of our work often accompany performances.
