AGMK provides a number of activities for Ghanaians living in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. Some of the activities include the Annual Independence Fundraising Dinner Dance in March of each year, a trip to the Seaside in the summer, a number of health and wellbeing talks and presentations by experts in those field. Other activities are usually posted on our social media websites.

The Charity promotes Scottish Country Dancing with classes, dances,demonstrations, socials and participation at local festivals. Classes are provided at beginner intermediate and advanced level.

Advancement of the arts, in particular music, dance and drama, for people with disabilities and or sensory impairment with a view to relieve their needs, have fun and grow in confidence. This is achieved by a series of workshops where people with the above disabilities work with able bodied people under the guidance of trained tutors to create an original piece of theatre.

To provide space for various organisations to continue their works (ie) choirs, shortmat bowls club, dance group, coffee mornings for charity drama group, church and Sunday School meetings.

To support children and young adults aged 4 to 25 years old who through personal and financial circumstances have not been able to actively participate in dance or the performing arts and to support further development of dance training and/or the performing arts in schools, charities and organisations within the M25 through charitable grants and donations.

SHS is a non-profit voluntary organisation dedicated to the principles of Hindu Dharma. We organize religious and cultural functions, which includes a celebration of festivals, lectures, music and dance performances by distinguished visitors and members of the local community on a regular basis to give our children and adults many opportunities to have a glimpse of the Hindu culture.

The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (Milton Keynes) is dedicated to promoting Scottish country dance. We run classes for all abilities and social events for both members and the general public.

The Great Clacton Community Association is responsible for the maintenance and hire of the Great Clacton Community Hall, for the benefit of local people. The Hall is hired for regular meetings of social groups, e.g. Bowls Club, Whist Club, Leisure Club, Dance Clubs, Slimming World and Organ Society, and is also hired to members of the public for parties, etc.

The village hall is available for use by the general public and local community to hold meetings of organisations, playschool, youth club, cultural and religious societies, dancing clubs, snooker club, polling station, sales of work etc.

Uniformed groups and dancing classes

The objects of the Saffron Walden Arts Trust shall be to promote, maintain, improve and advance education, and the encouragement of the Arts, including the arts of drama, mime, dance, singing and music, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Saffron Walden and the surrounding area, and the provision in the interests of social welfare of facilities for those people.

The charity applies only to five small rural parishes in Somerset, Marston-Magna, Ashington, Rimpton, Chilton Cantelo and Limington. Funds are concentrated on bursaries to help pay for individual childrens instrumental music tuition. Support is also offered for individual development in dance, drama and art.
