Arts Charities That specialise in Dance

The charity supports a diverse group of organisations including medical and disabled groups. Literary, homeless and dance-based charities are also included. Over 250 organisations are supported annually.

Monthly meetings with entertainment & food provided. Entertainment includes music, choirs, dancing. A special anniversary service and lunch is held each year. Membership is restricted to those with disabilities and their carers.

The holding of a Festival of Music, Speech & Drama, and Dance.

A rural youth movement for members aged between 10-26 years. YFC offers young people the opportunity to gain skills and confidence in public speaking, sports, cultural skills like dancing, drama, entertainments, pantomime and stockjudging, skills for life, training, social events and meetings.

The Charity raises funs through* Dinner and Dance functions.* Cake baking and selling at individuals work places.* Donations.* Sundry activities.These funds are used for * Eye camps in India, mainly in Mumbai in this financial year.

We provide a Saturday school for 6-16 year olds of all backgrounds from 2-4pm at the Friary Community Centre and at the Oaktree Community Centre in west London and we also provide Marimba, African dance and drumming classes. Please see our website for more information!

Kadam supports and mentors amateur and professional dancers and musicians; promotes dance and music performances and publishes Pulse the leading UK magazine for South Asian dance and music.

To advance education of young people between the ages of 4 and 16 years in the north west through the performance arts including but not exclusively drama dance and music.

Current activities include pool, table tennis, computers, arts, crafts, keep fit and dance.

Our Club, people aged 16 and over with learning disabilities, we meet once a week at the Club Venue, where we organise a variety of activities for members, some of which we conduct ourselves, and others where we invite third party specialists to conduct for us, Dancing, Live music, Keep Fit, etc. However, we also take members out for Meals, Theatre, Discos, Pub visits, etc. Our club is for members

StagedRight Stafford helps young people aged 8 - 21 years build their confidence and develop their talents through singing, drama, dancing, theatre and performance skills, team working and supporting and encouraging each other. The group rehearses on Friday evenings at a school in Stafford and performs at events during the year including staging a large production on a professional theatre stage.

We 're organising social activities such as a family outing in Margate (Kent) a giant BBQ in summer where the public meet and share their values, cultures, dances, exotic foods...Our fund raising is to buy foods for poor famillies and we organised christmas party for the children by giving them presents. We also organised dance training for alduts and cultural's event for the community.

Chhandam promotes, educates and engages local communities in Indian music, culture, dance, poetry and dramatics. Performed in Mahalaya show with local participation. Chhandam also participated in a some other small scale events with local interest. A big show Rays of Light in Shaw Theatre in November 2024, participating in fundraising projects, both within and outside of UK.

We offer vocal classes, music studio and production, bashment and street dance and leadership training. We also provide a range of services for adults.

Promotion of Scottish Country Dancing in the Bedfordshire area by supporting weekly classes, providing a demonstration team which is available to perform at fetes, clubs, etc, and organising regular dances using recorded music and an annual ball with a live band.

We are a charity social group which supports children and young adults who have Down Syndrome and their families.We hold group family sessions consisting of meet ups and activities such as dance, circus skills, discos and trips -winter wonderland, festivals, theme parks etc. We hold more of these sessions during the school holidays when our members are more socially isolated and places to visit
