We hold WI classes, meetings, sport activities. social occasions & catering in our new kitchen. The local school cooked in while the school was being renovated, children's partys, line dancing.

Nursery, After school hours and holiday play scheme provisions such as art/craft, music/dance, cultural activities, trips, sports activities, etc. volunteers, training for young adults.

Scottish Dancing, provision of classes for the general public and demonstrations (on a small scale), organisation of annual ball open to all, maintenance of the traditions and music of Scottish dancing.

Relief of Poverty Tanzania - Through musical recordings and stories a collaboration with the Gogo people has helped build a water well and community medical dispensary.Homes for Cambodian street children - another collaboration with the Khmer people is in progress, this time using musical recordings and traditional dance videos in order to help towards building a community home and art's centre.

We run authentic interactive African drumming, singing and dancing workshops and performances for all ages and abilities. Our purpose is to educate the public on the history and legacy of ancient African drumming rhythms and African percussion instruments and the powerful impact African drumming rhythms, songs and dance has on popular music still influenced by the historical African heritage.

SDVT Bannerfund is involved in all aspects of coal mining heritage in the areas of Seaham and the wider community of County Durham. We have renovated and conserve local miners banners for parade and exhibition to the public. We work with schools and children to raise awareness of our coal mining heritage including local mining history, song, dance, poetry and music, the life of miners.

SWAY is a charity set up by 7 churches in Brent to develop their work among young people. It runs dance, music and vocal workshops and football events mainly in school holidays. It offers the chance for young people to explore Christian teaching and worship. It assists in providing training for volunteer youth workers in the member churches.
