The Katrin Cartlidge Foundation was established in memory of actress Katrin Cartlidge who died suddenly in September 2002 at the age of 41. Each year, the Foundation makes a cash bursary to a new creative voice in cinema. The recipient is selected by a 'curator' chosen from Katrin's wide and eclectic network of friends and colleagues. The bursary is presented at the Sarajevo Film Festival.

Primary films is a unique organisation in the world of film that provides young creatives, actors and media makers opportunities to collaborate in film making research workshops as well as experiencing the full creative process of making films. In partnership with Weekend Studios our Westminster offices provide a foot-in-the-door to the industry for Westminster residents and recent graduates.

LCF invests in new and emerging talent in the areas of art & design, literature, film and photography.We organise regular events and seminars to enable creative individuals to leverage their talent and become self-sustainable in a challenging market environment.We forge reciprocal relationships with publications, galleries, sponsors and charities to provide a platform for creative talent.

We have almost 50 volunteers.The Orchard (Wifi) Cafe has a varied menu and provides a subsidised hot meal a day for the elderly but is inviting to the full range of ages who use the Haslewey Centre.

Celebrating Ealing's Film and Music Heritage and bringing it to the widest audience, especially young people who may not be aware of our cultural past through a programme of concerts, films, exhibitions and talks based around an annual festival. Financially supporting young people to develop their cultural and artistic skills, particularly those not normally having access to such opportunities.

The charity started trading in June 2015. It provides an extra-curricular history programme for primary and secondary schools - where children research their own family history to find something interesting/inspiring in their family's past. They then make a short film of their findings and share those films with other children, their families and the broader community.
