Furthering awareness of the Arabic language and Arabic culture

The Tagoreans aim to achieve their objects mainly by staging plays/dance-dramas, poetry recitations; organising lectures, seminars and exhibitions of arts and crafts; by setting up and running schools and classes for the teaching of Bengali language, music and dance and by holding special cultural performances to raise funds for the deserving causes.

WELSA is a voluntary organisation that helps vulnerable and disadvantaged Somali people. We give them advice and we also translate for them hen required. I also help them when they are job hunting. Although the younger generations have learnt and mastered the English language, unfortunately many elders and parents still truffle with day to day activities due to the language barrier.

To advance the education of the pupils at Ysgol Gymraeg Pwll Coch by providing and assisiting in the provision of facilities (not required to be provided by the Local Education Authority) for education at the school.

The Society has about 200 members from the UK, Eire, and overseas. It publishes an annual scholarly journal, Nomina, and an occasional newsletter for members. It organises regular conferences, open to non-members. During 2010 it held a 3-day conference Carmarthern which was sponsored by Bwrdd Yr Laith, the Welsh Language Board.

TO PROMOTE THE WELSH LANGUAGE AND ITS CULTURE IN DYFFRYN OGWEN AND THROUGHOUT NORTH WALES.

Our core activities are teaching Bengali Language to 5yr Olds to 20yrs youths up to GCSE. We also provide Arts, Drama, tennis and Badminton,martial Arts along with educational and recreations trips to the youths and their family, ESOL and exercise classes for the parents. Annually and throughout the year we hold cultural programmes to celebrate important days for the Bangladeshi community.

To support the work of the Museum and Art Gallery through fund-raising to assist the conservation of the collections and the cost of exhibitions, and the organising of public lectures to broaden the educational outreach of the Museum and Art Gallery.

The Charity raises funds to sponsor school events (trips etc) and purchase equipment or materials used by the school children of Ysgol Gymraeg Casnewydd. We also represent parents views during meetings held once a term with the schoolÔÇÖs head-teacher and other staff members.

We are a small, one form entry Welsh school. We organise events such as Christmas and Summer fetes, Stalls in school for dates such as Mother's Day, Father's Day and Easter. We also organise evening activities such as curry night etc. We have a ongoing Lottery, which is drawn each week. The funds raised help the school purchase equipment for the children.

Through the running of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), we hope to develop relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school, and engage in activities, provide facilities and equipment which support the school.We promote the Welsh language for the pupils of Ysgol Gymraeg Y Fenni, and to promote education through the medium of the Welsh Language.

The aim of the charity is to provide the public who's Chinese is not their first language but interested in gaining the language skill. It is a plat form to wider their opportunities in life. It also aims to provide opportunities for people to get to know Chinese culture, custom, arts and leisure activities, so that promoting a greater understanding between Chinese and British people.
