The Charity exists for the advancement of the education of the public in languages. Its object are realised principally through International House London, an internationally reputed language school. Its main activities are the teaching of English and the teaching of other Modern Languages and the training of language teachers.

To educate children and adults in the language, literature and general culture of GermanyTo promote the education of German speaking persons of all ages resident in Germany and elsewhere in the language, literature and general culture of EnglandGenerally to promote the study of German culture in England, and English culture in Germany.

To educate Japanese pupils aged 6 to 15 years old based upon the Japanese curriculum and to advance the education of those children in the language, literature and general culture of Japan. To provide a meeting place and opportunities for contacts with pupils of other schools, the locals as well as the Japanese community.

Awards grants upon application to organisations in the UK and Japan for UK-Japan related projects in the following fields:- youth & education, science, technology & environment, medicine & health, arts & culture, sport, the humanities, Japanese language and Japanese studies. Awards will only be made to individuals where they can demonstrate their planned activity has an organisation's backing.

Advances the education of the public with reference to Ancient and Medieval Egypt and countries in the same region, and promotes art, culture and heritage by raising knowledge, awareness and understanding of the language, history, arts, culture, religion and all other matters relating to Ancient and Medieval Egypt and countries in the same region.

We are mainly involved in hindu religious activities and do not have any political affinity.We have regular classes for young children for development of Hindi language.We run an over 50 club for elders to encourage them to understand social and health issues. We celebrate various Hindu festivals like Diwali, Janmasthmi, Holi etc where large number of devotees take part.

WCB is the umbrella agency in Wales representing blind and partially sighted people and the clubs and societies that support them. We gather the opinions and views of people with sight loss through groups and consultation. We put their voice at the centre of what we do, reporting their views to the people who are responsible for the services that help them. We signpost people to these services.

The objects of St Mary's with St George's are those of a Christian church, including those of worshipping God, preaching the Good News, celebrating and administering the sacrament, spiritual care for people, and supporting the work of the wider Church of Christian mission and the relief of the suffering. A particular concern is paid to those who wish to worship in the German language.

Provide Chinese Language lessons to the commuity around the area

The charity supports a Polish supplementary School operating on Saturday mornings only, for children between the age of 4 to 18 learning Polish language and culture and taking students to GCSE, AS and A2 examination. We also support different youth groups, not only with cash gifts, but also by allowing use of our premises. Groups include Polish scouts and folk dancing

Through the universal language of music&by promoting young artists from the Middle East&the Western World, the Peace&Prosperity Trust raises awareness&funds for charitable projects in the M.E.&for its young artists. 'Peace' is achieved by using the language of music to produce concerts.'Prosperity' by creating awareness&funding to specific charities dealing with education, health, poverty&culture.

Training for African women and children in ESL, cookery, Arabic language, IT and personal health matters. There is a homework class for schoolchildren on Sundays. Advice, information and language support on personal health and related matters given to women and support in contacting schools in respect of their children's education and further development.

To promote the education to the public for Chinese language, cultures, and traditions.. To provide recreational and educational facilities to the public. The school had a total of 27 classes of Chinese language courses (2 classes in Cantonese and 25 classes in Mandarin) and total of 420 students in the year term 2018 to 2019. There were also 1 dancing class for our students.

To provide Mandarin Chinese languages courses and cultural activities to the Chinese community and to all those who are interested in Chinese language and culture, regardless of their age or background.

Provision of tuition of the Chinese language

Provides out-of-school-hours activities for school age children, e.g. Chinese Language lessons (both Mandarin and Cantonese), Chinese Dance, Calligraphy, Crafts, etc, in Leeds and Districts. We also provide Chinese language lessons for adults and promote Chinese culture amongst local community.
