The Charity runs a library in Friern Barnet , in the London Borough of Barnet. The library is also used for childrens' activity groups and adult community activities.

The charity is supporting Orphans and Vulnerable Children through work with schools in Zimbabwe. Paying fees for children and funding school based projects ranging from buying books to building classrooms. It is involved in building a school in Kenya and setting up sustainable projects to provide long term funding for the schools it works with.

As a Womens' Institude we run monthly meetings for our members as well as educational outings and groups for example walking , gardening, Book, Art and Craft

The Charity raises funds solely for Great Bardfield Primary School. This enables the school to provide additional equipment, books, update and maintain IT Hardware.The funds are raised through activities organised by the Committee and the school such as Fetes, Bonfire Night events, Quizzes, Race Nights and many more.

Our objective is advancing the education of the public in the history of the village of Frenchay. To this end we carry out historical research, then publish the results on our web site, publish books and give talks. We also run Frenchay Village Museum.

the charity has been established for the advancement of Christian religion in the east Midlands. in furtherance of this the principle activities of the charity are running of a Christian book shop and coffee bar under the control of the manager appointed by the trustees and other voluntary staff.

The main activity of the year is the July festival in Helpston. This is a weekend of walks, talks, exhibitions, book sales, folk music and dance, concert, and lots of activities around the village.
