Publication of original material on the Society's website and in a regular journal. Arranging educational events. Awarding prizes. Sponsoring prizes and original research into Orwell's life and works. Engaging the public through the media including social media and "George Talks" by zoom. Organising informational trips to places of special significance to Orwell.

Promotion of a greater knowledge of the field botany of the British Isles by encouraging people to identify and record wild plants, the publication of a magazine, the organisation of field meetings and the making of grants to support education about field botany and the publication of relevant material.

Promoting biblical knowledge by teaching, preaching, and the provision of literature.Providing services for divine worship, and celebration of Biblical festivals.

We organise fundraising activities in order to benefit the learning opportunities of the pupils of Mosborough Primary School. This year we have funded the purchase of a new new playground equipment, books for foundation new starters, equipment for the Science Curriculum and subsidised a number of educational visits for different year groups.

AT PRESENT WE ARE RUNNING:1. Friday Prayer Meeting and Lecture2. Public Celebration of Religious Festivals3. Producing and/ or distributing literature on Islam to enlighten others about Islam and4. Facilities for recreational or other leisure time occupation of Children, Young people and adult.

Fundraising through school fairs, raffles, bags2school collections etc. Just finished enriching the outdoor provision for the reception and KS1 playground and now raising funds to improve accessibility of the woodland area and access to a range of new books for the library and subsidising trips so all the children can benefit.

Wansdyke Primary is based in Bristol City and is a small school with a small PTA to provide funds for play equipment, books and improvements (ie IPOD etc )to each class as well as the school as a whole.

The object of the SDN is to advance education for the public benefit, specifically in relation to nineteenth-century French history and culture. To this end, it organises an annual international conference and supports an international peer-reviewed academic journal, Dix-Neuf. The SDN also runs training workshops and administers several research awards.

COMPLETION OF CHURCH BUILDING AND COMMENCEMENT OF NURSERY SCHOOL PROJECT IN KALEO, GHANA. NURSERY SCHOOL COMPLETED. PRIMARY SCHOOL COMPLETED 2017. SCHOOL LIBRARY COMPLETED 2018 AND ELECTRICITY INSTALLED. JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL WAS COMPLETED BY SEPTEMBER 2019 WHEN THE FIRST CHILDREN MOVED IN

The advancement of the christian faith through publications, support for translations and free distribution of literature. Publication of christian magazine "Youthful Days".

The Hackney Society organises events, produces publications & a regular newsletter, SPACES, to highlight the society's work, campaigns to protect local buildings of historical and/or architectural merit, promotes high standards of design, construction and conservation, and provide advice and support to local groups to help them improve their neighbourhoods

Community Centre for use by village and surrounding area for all age groups for sports, fund raising, keep fit, marshall arts and many other social activities, including Day Centre. There is also a library, play group and Doctors branch surgery on the site.

Enrichment of learning through school visits, visiting professionals i.e. theatre companies, musicians, etc. and book fairs.Fund raising to promote the above.

Providing advice and help to people researching their family history, both in the UK and world wide both via books and CDs of data re births marriages and deaths, and also individual enquiries. This service is not just limited to Society Members.

Provide a Museum at Salisbury Library in Wiltshire. It exists to perpetuate the name of a local author. Including books and more recently a collection of modern art by artists of an international reputation, especially those with strong Wiltshire connections

Operate a premises where: matters of faith are explored through literature, group and individual discussions; comfort and a listening ear can be offered in times of need; christian resources are provided for local events; Fairtrade is actively supported; venue is offered to support local activities

To advance the education of the public in Raunds and the surrounding area by operating and managing a lending library.To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Raunds and the surrounding area the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities.

The Society's object is to promote the study of construction history for the public benefit. The Society organizes seminars and meetings, sponsors publications, assists the identification and preservation of archives, artifacts and records, co-ordinates and disseminates information in respect of construction, raises funds by way of subscriptions, sale of publications and seminars and conferences

Unfinished Histories records the history of the alternative theatre movement c1968-88 in Britain through oral history, documentation and the collection of physical archives. We share this work through web sites and publications including films, CDs and DVDs and through events such as talks, readings, workshops, exhibitions, productions including new work inspired by past practitioners.
