The Commonweal Trust maintains the Commonweal Collection, an independent specialist library devoted to issues around nonviolent social change working to promote peace and justice. The library provides literature, resources and other support for those who share its vision of the good society.

Community Hub with Library

The Charity is a Parent Teacher Association for a Primary School in Essex. It aims to raise money for the benefit of the children at the school. Fundraising activities are organised by parents to raise money and encourage community spirit. Monies raised directly benefit the school and its children such as new computer equipment, playground equipment, books and smaller items.

Provide public reading room service and private members library lending service.

We hold committee meetings which are attended by staff and parents from both Junior and Infant schools. We organise fund raising events such as discos, car boot sales, fetes and bingo evenings. The Charity provides a full library service to the people of Bawtry and surrounding area. Other services include book shop, photocopying, computers, printing and fax.

Regular Monday evening meetings consist of a beginners' class, for which no charge is made, an open lecture, an astrological discussion group and a more advanced class. Meetings are open to both members and non-members. The Astrology Quarterly is published 4 times a year, a magazine which is free to members. An annual seminars is held, focused on a specific astrological theme.

The aim of the Foundation is to provide financial assistance to young people who live in Washingborough and Heighington, Lincolnshire, and who in the opinion of its Trustees are in need of help in order to undertake courses at college, university or join apprenticeship schemes. For example, help towards the purchase of tools or books and also sporting activities.

The DORCAS' organisation provide informal and socially inclusive training for local people: Health Lectures; Keep Fit classes; healthy cooking with an emphasis on vegetarian cooking; the benefits of a healthy lifestyle to nurture personal development toward mental health and well-being; I.T. literacy and numeracy me in the Boroughs of Wandsworth, Lambeth & Kingston to who have need of life skills.
