First Church of Christ, Scientist, Blackpool is part of a worldwide network of Branch Churches, founded on the words and works of Jesus, by Mary Baker Eddy. Services are held on Sundays, and on Wednesday evenings Testimony Meetings are held. Each Church also supports a Reading Room, open to the public for study and loan or sale of books etc.

Promoting and facilitating access to Education and Health for the needy in Pakistan, directly and with registered charities through student sponsorship at all levels , and supply of equipment, computers, sewing machines, library furniture and such to schools, medicines and medical equipment to hospitals, and support for free cataract camps.

We are small group of volunteers who are connected to the school who fundraise in the interest of providing items for the educational and well being needs of all children at our school.We hold events such as a Summer Fair, Cake Bakes, Christmas Shop's to raise money on School property, and have provided library books, playground markings, Read,Wrire Ink books and contributed to a mini bus.

The activities of Chipping Campden History Society include meetings with talks; trips to places of historical interest; a twice-yearly journal; a family history group; research activity; working with local community groups; and publications on topics of local interest. It maintains a local history room which contains documents, maps, books, reference material, etc. collected over many years.

Funds raised are used to improve school facilities eg: playground equipment, mirrors for toilets, rugs for the library, kitchen refurbishment, provide gifts for year 6 leavers and all children receive a gift at Christmas. Sports kit and lunchtime play equipment are also provided. Various entertainment activities are also arranged to raise funds and promote school unity.

FFHL was formed to take over the running of Flackwell Heath village library, from Buckinghamshire County Council who continue to provide: books, library IT, book issuing, reservation and administration systems. FFHL volunteers are responsible for operating and managing the library, and also carry out fundraising to improve services and make the library a stronger part of the village community.

Our vision is to be a source of encouragement, inspiration and creativity to churches of all denominations in their ministry to children and young people within the area of the Anglican Diocese of Leeds. Our main areas of work: loaning resources; working with Parishes to provide 'Open the Book' in schools; offering support and training for all those involved in children's ministry.

U3A's are democratic, self funded, self managed organisations which exist to provide a full range of activities for men and women, no longer in full time employment, at minimal cost. They draw upon the knowledge, experience and skill of their members who organise the groups. At the moment we have groups including Walking, Skittles, Table Tennis, Family History,Art, Nature, Book groups, Mah Jong.

We raise money for the St. Sebastian's Church of England Primary School and Nursery in Wokingham, Berkshire. We do this through a series of yearly events including the Summer Fayre, Christmas Bazaar, Sponsored Walks, Auction Evening, Light Parties, Book Sales, Cake Sales and other events. We work closely with the St. Sebastian's Church and the local community.

Rowlands Gill Volunteer Library Association provides library facility and service in Rowlands Gill Library, Norman Road, Rowlands Gill NE39 1JT. In addition we provide other education community resources and activities for residents of Rowlands Gill and surrounding areas.

Monthly meetings for local women for all members and guests with either an educational speaker or in house teaching/discussion. Specialist learning meetings including four monthly book clubs, craft groups covering various crafts e.g. crochet, quilt making, banner making, ipad training sessions. Periodic educational outings.

As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are called to bring the good news to our community as stated in the book of Matthew 28:19. We believe that by organising social activities or events, we can create opportunities to share the good news of salvation. Additionally, we seek to care and serve our community as we are commanded to love our neighbours as we love ourselves (Mark 12:31).

We publish two magazines Crystal Palace Matters, and Crystal Palace Foundation News.
