Our purposes are to relieve poverty and sickness, to promote and preserve good health and advance education of children in Myanmar and elsewhere in the world by the provision of furniture, clothing, food, appliances; building maintenance and repairs; supply of books, educational tools, stationery, school uniforms; support of orphanages and other facilities for abandoned infants and children.

The trust offers grants to students aged 14 to 24 years to advance their education and training. Applications are accepted from those who are or were students at The Blandford School or who reside in certain parishes in and around Blandford Forum. Grants are usually made to assist with additional items of student expenditure, such as extra courses, books, equipment and travel.

Sephardi Voices UK records oral history interviews with Jews from North Africa, Middle East and Iran who now live in the UK. Interviews are deposited for public access at the British Library. SVUK has trained interviewers, supported other oral history projects, and produces short testimony films that are used in educational contexts.

Friends of Woodford Green Primary School organises events and activities such as fetes, cake sales, quiz evenings, children's discos and book sales.

The AMH is a Learned Society based in the UK promoting the development of the medical and health humanities through: an annual conference, council meetings, regional meetings, an associated journal (Medical Humanities) and a website (amh.ac.uk). Fostering a sense of community amongst the pupils, teachers, families and wider population at this state maintained primary school in St John's Wood London. The Society provides and advertises a public monthly lecture programme relating to all aspects of the history of Belper and the region. Provides public exhibitions, and has published several books. We have amassed, conserved and catalogued a huge collection of photographs of the area, a large collections of archive documents and of historic artifacts which are used for education and research.

The purpose of the foundation is to further the education of pupils attending Kingsbury School by providing facilities not normally provided by the LEA. Financial assistance may be provided for School trips, outings, theatre visits, musical instruments and lessons, books, school uniform and any other items which will further enhance and improve their education.

Contributed to the purchasing of books to Oda schools. Donated used Bicycles to very needy areas in the Akim Kotoku Area.

The Friends of Smithy Bridge School Association organise fundraising and social activities to benefit the children of Smithy Bridge Primary School. Egs of activities: Quiz Night, Xmas fair, Oompah night, Summer Fair, Magic show, mothers and fathers day gifts. Egs of items purchased in 2015/16 guided reading books, christmas parties and gifts,school extension fund, contributuon to year 6 PGL.
