We are a local community festival bringing diverse, high quality programmed events to Steyning and the surrounding area. The Museum Ethnographers Group (MEG) is a subject specialist network (SSN) providing professional support and advice for people working with or studying world cultures collections in museums. Our main activities are the annual conference and journal, quarterly newsletter, website and enquiries services. We also hold regular study visits and training days for members.

Educational grants are given to students at school, college and university to assist with course books and equipment who are resident in the villages of Chew Magna, Stanton Drew, Stanton Prior, Stowey Sutton and Newton St Loe. Small donations are given to those who are both elderly and in need at Christmas time.

We fundraise to enrich the education and resources for children at Beckley C of E Primary School. In recent years fundraising activities have included Christmas and Summer fetes, the sale of Christmas trees and quiz nights. We have been able to fund pantomimes, Christmas book presents and helped to update the IT facilities at the school as well as an upgrade of the playground environment.

Our Charity, based in Woking, Surrey, is called Lets Read Ltd.We are passionate about literacy and wish to make a difference to the lives of young people who struggle to read. We aim to protect, preserve and maintain the heritage of the cemetery. Also encourage flora and fauna to thrive in the habitat which has been created.
