WTN provides listeners in Wellingborough, Rushden, Higham and surrounding villages with weekly local news and magazine on memory sticks. Qualification is inability to read ordinary news-type. Approx.120 Listeners. We also exchange magazine tapes with other TN's in our area (Npton-shire). We have recently changed from cassette tapes to memory sticks. Players are issued free of charge to members.

We act as an independent group dedicated to promoting, supporting and improving the library and community hub.We contribute to the Library's finances by applying for grants, encouraging donations and organising fundraising events. Moorland Road Community Library (Bath) operates and manages a lending library and associated facilities for the people in the area of Moorland Road, Bath. The library is currently run and operated by the local Council but as of April 2019 it will be adopted by this community based charity. It will maintain as much of the existing services as possible and will be operated exclusively by volunteers.

During the pandemic we held monthly committee meetings by Zoom. We also hosted, in conjunction with the local U3A Group 4 talks on subjects related to the Museum collection. The Georgian Gown has now been conserved and forms the centre piece of the Georgian Room in the newly opened Amelia Scott Centre.

We organise local sustainability events at community centres or other locations within Telford and Wrekin. We organise 'swaps' where the public can bring items to swap or can take items for a pay as you can donation, have an eco library, offer recycling facilities via Telford Terracycle. We invite other eco organisations and individuals to attend our events to share information/activities.
