During the year the Society held a series of public lectures, organised visits of interest to the membership, continued work on regular publications and continued to monitor developments at its various sites and elsewhere in South Yorkshire.

To provide one to one coaching to improve adult literacy in Nottingham area

We provide a fortnightly memory stick to the blind & partially sighted people in Mid-Staffordshire. This is a totally free service. We also provide the equipment into which the memory sticks are inserted. The memory stick consists of news, magazine items & information useful to the visually impaired.

Advance Christian religion by means of broadcasting Christian messages of an evangelistic and teaching nature for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, producing and distributing literature on Christian religion.Relief of poverty and promotion of social inclusion for the public benefit.

Conducting Seminars, Conferences, Lectures, Running of Free Medical Centres, Publishing & distribution of Books and other Educational materials including but not limited to leaflets, brochures etc

To provide a regularly changing selection of adult fiction and non-fiction books including large print editions, to be borrowed by any member of the general public for home reading. Facilities are available on 1 1/2 days per week, with no joining fees or any other charges.

A wide variety of activities have been undertaken during the year in relation to the charities objects,including prayer meetings, events and conferences.Olive Dawson travelled to the USA, North and South of Ireland, Scotland and Southern England last year togive talks and to promote Our Lady's Book of Message of Mercy to The World.

Provision of books for schools in Wednesbury.

Researching local history of the four parishes that make up Bewdley. The Group attends Local History Fairs and local events to promote the Group. Producing publications on a range of topics all connected to Bewdley.

The Society monitors planning proposals, particularly in the Ware Conservation Area and comments where appropriate. It operates a biennial Town Award Scheme in recognition of developments or projects that have enhanced the appearance or amenity of the townOrganises monthly talks on various relevant topicsIt publishes or sponsors various publications concerning the history of the town

The charity runs Newport library as a Community facility. In addition to the usual library facilities it provides related activities such as support for carers, sessions for children, and IT help for older members of the community.

The Trust advertises in medical journals, inviting applications from potential beneficiaries. The trust manager reviews applications for grants when received and grants are awarded by the trustee at its discretion.
