The Charity runs a bookshop in Cwmbran town centre. As part of the operation, many of the customers also seek to share burdens and are prayed for: effective counselling.

MCS-Aware provides awareness, support and education for anyone affected by Environmental Illness (EI) and Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) worldwide. We aim to facilitate research into Multiple Chemical Sensitivity and to campaign for recognition and better services for people with EI. Resources include an E-newsletter, forum, support group and quarterly magazine.

BrANCH organizes an annual conference and has editorial responsibility for an academic journal, American Nineteenth Century History (published by Taylor & Francis). We also offer small grants to UK-based postgraduate students to help fund research and an annual prize for the best dissertation written by a UK-based undergraduate or masters student in the field of 19th-century American history.

The charity supports a secondary school in Sierra Leone, that provides education for girls. The charity is made up of ex pupils of the school and this is one way of giving back.We have provided books, essential tables and chairs, replaced toilets and rewired buildings as examples. Currently, we are raising funds to re-roof a main building and construct extra classrooms.

Burnham Community Association offers a range of services and activities in and around the village of Burnham in Buckinghamshire, These include community transport schemes, an information centre and older people's clubs. We run creative workshops in East London for refugees, people seeking asylum, other forced migrants and local residents. We have an allotment where we engage in gardening and growing activities, to alleviate stress and share food stories. We also host public events, publish books and videos and run school workshops, to educate the general public about the lived experiences of forced migration.
