TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN UK FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS, LECTURES PRODUCING AND/OR DISTRIBUTING LITERATURE ON CHRISTIAN RELIGION TO ENLIGHTEN OTHERS ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION.

We provide educational and social activities for retired/semi retired people over the age of 55. These include speakers on matters of general interest ie the EU, history, nature, authors and art. We also have theatre outings, visits to historical houses/gardens and museums. Various groups are also run by the members which include walking, book clubs and astronomy.

Maintain nature reserves. Collect observation records. Provide bird report annually & bi annual journal. Organise indoor & outdoor meetings. Make grants and Contribute to the environmental debate to further our Objects.

Haddenham Community Library (HCL) maintains the library service in Haddenham under the terms of an agreement with Buckinghamshire Council (BC). Opening hours are currently 24.5 per week. HCL also provides a community facility for use by local people for a range of recreational activities. It has a contracted library manager who is supported by 30 volunteers.

The running of a Community Library

Build and maintain a library of documents relating to the history and development of market and social research for those who wish to gain insight into the evolution of the industry. This will involve the building of a physical archive and an online catalogue.

To advance the education of the public of Earlsdon, Chapelfields and surrounding areas in Coventry by the provision of a community Library, The building also provides computer and printing facilities to those in need and is used by local community groups e.g. Age UK; Mums and Toddlers; language classes, local primary school groups, Rhyme Time, computer coding classes for young people.

Produce scholarly journal, hold conferences, promote research.

To pay the income of the trust to the Christian Science Board of Directors of the Mother Church the First Church of Christ Scientist in Boston Massachusetts to be used in Great Britain for the promotion and extension of the religion of Christian Science as taught by Mary Baker Eddy in the Christian Science text book Science and Health with key to the Scriptures.

The Open Bible Trust publishes a magazine and Bible study materials including books, booklets, CDs, MP3s, and DVDs. It also holds seminars and conferences and organises an annual Christian holiday, all of which take place in a variety of locations throughout the UK. The advancement of public knowledge and understanding of features of historical interest in the area of benefit

To protect the history and legacy of LEO computers by collecting artefacts and memorabilia, first-hand memories both oral and written and compiling a catalogue of such material; and, by working with our members, with museums and archives to protect this heritage and promote it to the public at large and to researchers through events, exhibitions, publications and an accessible online archive.

Pevensey Memorial Hall is for the use of the community. The hall is hired out for Ballroom Dancing, Modern Sequence Dancing, Indoor Bowls, Guides and Brownies. Bingo is held every Friday evening and the Hall is hired out at any other available time for various functions. The Hall also produces a 32 page glossy covered magazine, The Parish Pump,distributed free to 5000 homes, three times a year.

Athena Art Foundation posts on its digital hub and social media feeds innovative and accessible material about pre-modern art in museums and other locations around the world. The Athena team gathers material for the hub from a wide range of websites, publications, newsletters and promotional material, as well as producing podcasts, films, livestreams and other material of our own.

To promote the study of all aspects of agricultural history and the history of the rural economy and society, through the publication of a biannual journal, a newsletter and a website.

Library service and related activities

Provides Christian literature, free of charge through books and booklets. Also through the free-will offerings of readers and supporters, we also provide financial support for sister organisation in India.The Charity operates throughout the United Kingdom and also parts of Europe.

The Library provides a resource of both historical and contemporary evangelical literature for the Christian public, and supports similar libraries in other countries.

Our concern is the ancient city of Amarna, Egypt. An international team pursues a variety of research programmes, & local people are trained in excavation & building repair. Outputs inc. scientific publications, a free bulletin & web updates. In the UK we work with ancient Egypt societies & adult education programmes to raise awareness of Amarna & its contribution to understanding humanity's past.

Conwy Arts Trust aims to promote, maintain, improve and advance the education and appreciation of the public in the art of drama and the other arts within the county borough of Conwy by encouraging and fostering cultural activities such as the study, performance, understanding and appreciation of drama productions, music, literature, the visual arts and educational workshops.
