Ashingdon & Rochford U3a is a self-help organisation for people no longer in full time employment, who live in the Ashingdon & Rochford area. Affiliated to the Third Age Trust, members pay an annual membership fee and are able to enjoy educational, creative, leisure and sporting activities, attend a monthly meeting with a guest speaker, an inhouse newsletter and a U3A magazine "U3A Matters".

The editing and publication of materials relating to the history of the ancient County of Northamptonshire; stimulation of interest in Northamptonshire by arranging lectures, and by other means; maintenance of a library and its furnishings for the benefit of members of the Society; and the care of manuscripts, books, paintings and other objects which may be given or lent to the Society.

CCA is active in promoting Animal Welfare and related issues throughout the Catholic world and educating all Catholics (and others) on Catholic teaching and practice on the issue of Animal welfare and compassion in line with published Catholic documents such as Pope Francis' Encyclical letter Laudato Si'.CCA does this through various means including our magazine The ARK magazine and social media

The charity advances legal education about animal protection law through its Journal of Animal Law, eNewsletter and monthly updates, as well as via its website, blog, seminars and events. It provides a hub of legal expertise about animal law and may contribute to public consultations and debate around the legal protection of animals. The charity also runs a student group.

The holding of public meetings to further the christian faith including gospel meetings, sunday school, young peoples meetings, ladies meetings, mums and toddlers, prayer meetings, bible studies, breaking of bread meetings and family services also distribution of christian literature manily in the vicinity of Coleford, Nr Radstock, Somerset. We also support overseas and UK christian missionaries.

THE OBJECT OF THE BIBLE LEAGUE TRUST IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGION BY THE PROCLAMATION AND FURTHERANCE OF THE GOSPEL OF GOD CONCERNING HIS SON JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND THE PREACHING AND TEACHING OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH THROUGHOUT THE UNITED KINGDOM AND ELSEWHERE. THE BIBLE LEAGUE TRUST PRODUCES LITERATURE, WHICH IS SENT WORLDWIDE, AND HOLDS PUBLIC MEETINGS THROUGHOUT THE UNITED KINGDOM.

As the PTA of a small village school we now received charity status which will enable us to increase our fundraising activities. Our activities include cake sales, movie nights, Christmas & Summer Fairs, Easter egg hunt, school discos & the offer of swimming lessons. The money goes towards new equipment & books, towards fun events like theatre visits, ice cream vans etc.

Our PTA works with the school, parents & pupils to put on a range of activities such as a Christmas Markets, School Discos, Summer BBQ's & Sponsored Events. These help to develop relationships within the school community & raise funds. Funds are used to purchase equipment & provide additional educational experiences such as reading books, outdoor play equipment, a minibus & IPads.

Winning books have been those which make original and lasting educational, professional, historical and cultural contributions to the field.

We are a branch of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston Mass. U.S.A. and as such hold church services on Sundays and Wednesday evenings, as well as supporting a Reading Room where members of the public may purchase religious books or use our free lending library. The Reading Room also provides a quiet study area for people to come and sit, or ask for help or advice from the librarian.

Faith in Government helps Christians in public and private sectors in low and middle income countries to promote the sound administration and development of the law, according to the tenets of their faith. It does this by fundraising in the UK, then giving small grants to a Christian NGO in the Philippines, and to support publications and global conferences on this subject.

The Objects of the International Christian Celebration Centre (ICCC) are:Promotion and advancement of the Christian religion in our community and within the public at large.To advance Christianity for the benefit of the public through prayer meetings, lectures, producing and distributing Christian literature on Christian faith.
