CARSHALTON CHORAL SOCIETY IS A CHORAL SOCIETY ESTABLISHED IN 1947 TO PERFORM CHORAL MUSIC IN THE LOCAL AREA. MEMBERSHIP IS OPEN TO ALL, AND THERE IS NO AUDITION REQUIREMENT FOR ENTRY. FINANCE IS PROVIDED BY MEMBERS' SUBSCRIPTIONS AND APPLICATIONS TO LOCAL FUNDING AUTHORITIES.

Friends of Nettlebed School (FONS) works with the teachers to enhance each child's experience of school. Whether it be through assistance in the classroom, school outings or financially - purchasing extra equipment/facilities and by financing visits to the school by professional musicians and authors etc.

The Foundation's current principal activity is dedicated to supporting international contemporary artists working not only in art, but also in music, film and other creative disciplines, predominantly through providing artist residency program in Tuscany, Italy near small town Palaia on the grounds of Villa Lena estate. Selected artists are offered between one and two months stay.

Choral Society, we give 2 concerts a year in the local Church which are well-attended by local people. We give free tickets to accompanied under-16s. We have a retiring collection at the end of each concert for a particular charity chosen by the trustees, eg the local hospice.

Exeter Chamber Choir aims to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of publicconcerts and recitals.

Provides opportunities for young and established musicians to pass on the message of arts and culture to the general public

We support inspirational music projects which actively preserve and promote a community's cultural music heritage while also discovering and nurturing new, emerging talent. We are currently supporting a cultural music heritage project in East Africa called Singing Wells. The principle activities of the Orchestra in the year under review are to promote live music by putting on concerts in the East Herts area including involving schools in children's and Christmas concerts, and to increase the standards of the local amateur musicians by engaging professional musicians to work and tutor.

Cardiff Ardwyn Singers/Cantorion Ardwyn Caerdydd is a mixed voice choir and its purpose is the study and practice of choral music in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performances.

The preservation and protection of good mental health and wellbeing among students who are experiencing, or are at risk of experiencing mental health conditions, through participation in creative music and arts projects and workshops designed to improve the lives of participants.The advancement of the arts for the public benefit through the provision of performances of artistic merit.

Concerts, Art Exhibition, Quizes, History Walk and Talk and other fund-raising events to help maintain, repair, restore, preserve and beautify the fabric of St Laurence Church and it's surroundings.

Brass Band Society which provides brass band training and education for all ages and abilities. Members are provided with an opportunity to participate in musical activities including concerts, contests and community events.The Society comprises of two senior bands (M1 and M2), a youth band (M3), a beginners band (M4) and a Community Band.

TO PROMOTE, MAINTAIN AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE ARTS INCLUDING THE ART OF MUSIC, SINGING, DRAMA, VISUAL ARTS BY THE PROMOTION OF PERFORMANCES AND WORKSHOPS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF NORTH WEST ENGLAND.

The Ann Driver Trust was founded in June 1989, in memory of Ann Driver MBE, musician and broadcaster. It supports the education of youth in the arts, with special emphasis on music, by giving grants to nominated schools and colleges.

The recreation room is run by the villagers for the adults and children in and around the parish of Aughton.Fundraising through a village show, Christmas and easter bingo, Jacobs joins, bonfire night, quiz night, cheese and wine evenings, dominoe drives, carpet bowling, badminton, table tennis, music lessons, childrens parties, social bar evenings, zumba, pancake day, etc.

The promotion within the local community of amateur performance, principally of musical and operatic drama.

ACT One is an amateur musical theatre group based in Shepshed, near Loughborough, Leics. As an independent youth theatre we aim to cater for young people from school years 6 - 13 from the local area, and their interest in musical theatre.
