FUNDING CONCERTS, CONTRIBUTION TO THE COST OF THE PRODUCTION OF CD'S AND SUPPORTING CHILDREN UNDERGOING EDUCATION IN SPECIALIST MUSICAL ESTABLISHMENTS.

The objects of the charity are the advancement for the public benefit of education in the field of music, with particular reference to the music of the Baroque period.The principal activity is to stage productions of Baroque operas, with a particular emphasis on works by Handel, and provide associated educational activities.

The day care centre provides facilities for elderly & disabled people to have social contacts and a hot midday meal. We provide organised entertainment, slide shows, talks, live music, light exercise and bingo. Computer training, hairdressing & chiropody are available. We also arrange coach outings during the year.

The education of the public in the art of choral music through the presentation of concerts, public recitals and other such means as the Trustees shall decide.

To advance the education of the public in music and in particular the music of choral groups through supporting education, workshops, performances and concerts by choral groups including, principally but not exclusively, the early music group known as Stile Antico alone or in collaboration with others.

Present an annual festival of new music predominantly but not exclusively in Powis Hall, Bangor University. The festival incorporates workshops involving students at local schools in Gwynedd and Anglesey.

The Taqasim Music Foundation was established to preserve, share and spread an appreciation of the rich musical traditions of the Middle East. It is there to promote national and international musicians, for the benefit of the artistic community and the general public.

Gwent Bach Choir provides education for the public and training for its members by producing at least three choral concerts every year, these concerts being mostly classical in content. Membership of Gwent Bach Choir is open to adults over the age of 18 who have some musical experience. Attendance at concerts is open to people of all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult. .

The purpose of the charity is to promote and encourage the practice of bellringing; to recruit, train and encourage bellringers in the practice of their art; to cultivate the art of scientific change ringing; to promote and advise on the preservation, renovation and augmentation of bells in an efficient condition.

ITS MAIN ACTIVITIES ARE WORKING WITH THE SCHOOL TO PROVIDE GRANTS FOR EXTRA CLASSROOM EQUIPMENT AND TO DEVELOP THE OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND AREAS.IT ALSO CONTRIBUTES TO SPECIAL EVENTS AT THE SCHOOL INCLUDING BOOK WEEK AND ACTIVITES SUCH AS AFRICAN DRUMMING.IT ORGANISES FUND RAISING EVENTS SUCH AS THE SUMMER FAIR WHICH INCREASE'S THE COHESION OF THE COMMUNITY FOR STAFF, PARENTS AND PUPILS.
