The objects of Preston Opera are to entertain and educate the public in the operatic arts by promoting productions of operas, operettas, operatic concerts and recitals of educative value.

NYFTE gives young people (aged 10 to 18) from across England the opportunity to perform a variety of English folk dance traditions, folk songs and music to a high standard. NYFTE's performances can be seen at festivals, ceilidhs, workshops and other public events and we aim to promote the understanding of, participation in and enjoyment of traditional English dances, music and song to everyone.

Promoting education of children, young people and the public generally, with a particular focus on those with learning difficulties, through investigating, researching, developing & promoting educational, therapeutic & recreational strategies & resources that support & encourage the creative & aesthetic development of people through their understanding & appreciation of & engagement with music

To provide financial assistance by way of grants to churches in the Diocese of Coventry incurring expenditure on the provision, maintenance or improvement, including augmentation, of their bells and bell installations where the bells are to be hung for full circle ringing.

We aim to increase opportunity and access to learning music. MusicMOB will fund music lessons (singing and instrumental) for young people attending state schools in Oswestry and its surrounding villages. We also will loan instruments and provide tuition books and music stands

The Band exists to promote, maintain, improve and advance education in the arts by the encouragement of the musical arts of the Scottish Bagpipes and Drums. It provides tuition to both ab initio, and improving, bagpipers and drummers, and gives public displays, at carnivals, concerts, and festivals by integrating piping and drumming in static and marching events

Our concerts are designed to educate and inform through more than just the performance of music. Spoken introductions are a crucial part of our presentation, offering our audiences a broader understanding of the fundamental place that music holds in our culture, socially and politically, both now and from a historical perspective.

Sea Cadets is voluntary uniformed youth organisation which offers a range of largely free activities from sailing, canoeing, rock climbing, engineering, IT communications, music and cookery. We aim to encourage good citizenship and provide worthwhile qualifications, experience and adventure for young people. Cadets have the opportunity to learn life skills whilst having fun and making friends.

Orchestral concerts

The object of the Trust is the advancement of the Christian faith through the music ministry of Bryn Haworth particularly in prisons in the UK, working towards inmates' rehabilitation through the chaplaincy departments & training others to work in this field. The Trust also supports other charities and individuals involved in prison, mission and aid work.

STAGING DRAMA AND MUSICAL PRODUCTIONS

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in (and appreciation of) the art of music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts, workshops and recitals. Members employ the services of professional musicians as Musical Director and accompanists at rehearsals. At concerts professional orchestral players, accompanists and soloists are employed.

Making grants to other charities engaged in the relief of children in need by reason of ill-health, disability or financial hardship; helping young artists to develop their careers in musical theatre; protecting animals indigenous to the UK or providing a welfare environment for displaced domestic animals; and, occasionally, supporting major charities at the time of an international emergency.

The Deal Memorial Bandstand Trust maintains and operates the Memorial Bandstand on Walmer Green, Deal, Kent. This Bandstand is a Memorial to eleven members of Her Majesty's Royal Marines who were killed in a bombing attack in Deal in September 1989.The Bandstand is a living memorial and as such over 20 concerts are performed each year between May and September.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education and appreciation of light music.

Community orchestra playing at least three classical music concerts a year, bringing classical music to the North London community.

The charity aims to provide financial contributions to help small charities to fund specific projects that support their growth and charitable aims.

Choral singing, in concerts and in church services, including carol services for the benefit of other charitable organisations.

To advance education in the art of drama and musical theatre for the benefit of the public by public productions and performances, encouraging participation in the staging of such productions and developing programmes and workshops.

To put on public concerts at least three times per year. To provide music to other choirs/organisations from our extensive library, to raise money for other charities/good causes, to commission works of music, to involve children/school choirs in performance,to organise workshops,to encourage public participation in singing

The charity organises and promotes The Parkhouse Award. The Parkhouse Award is a biennial International Chamber Music Competition for piano based ensembles from duos to piano quartets.

We present performances, concerts, and other musical activities in the local area.

To encourage the interest in Musical theatre, and allow a wide age range of members with an interset in Musical theatre to develop thier interest

To promote the development of music making opportunities for young people and others in North East Derbyshire. Provide music sharing sessions for various musical genres. Ensemble sessions are available Friday evenings and Saturday mornings throughout school terms.
