Arts Charities That specialise in Music

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of theatre pipe organ music.

TO ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE THE PERFORMING ARTS FOR ALL AGE GROUPS AND ESPECIALLY FOR THE YOUNG

To promote public education and appreciation of music by the presentation of public concerts.

1. To promote and establish excellence in the performing arts within the UK with special reference to the music of William Walton.2. To introduce the arts to the widest possible audience embracing all ages and abilities.3. To aid educational projects encompassing British music.4. To develop a wide range of masterclasses.

The following groups meet at the community centre indoor bowls / pre school / drama group / wives group / 50 plus group / thursday afternoon club / good companions / flower club & flower arranging club / T.W.G. We also hold concerts / craft fayre / spring fayre.

The society produces an annual musical show for the general public in the mid Cornwall area to enjoy entertainment at a local theatre. For the members of the cast and stage crew it gives education in performing arts and technical matters. The society engages a professional Director and Musical Director. The society welcomes children and young people where the script or score allows.

We are a choir, and we sing. We perform 2 to 3 concerts a year at the Portsmouth Guildhall, and we perform a suitable work at a Church at Easter time. We also regularly perform charity concerts in aid of local charities such as the Fareham branch of the Parkinson's Society. We also give donations to local charities and grants to young people to attend a summer music school.

A charity who promotes the advancement of the performing arts with the provision of workshops, musical instruments and teachers to schools, playgroups and children's hospices; and the provision of fully funded or subsidised tickets to see professional and amateur theatre performances in the interests of social welfare for young people, who have need.

The Choir shall study and practice choral music in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance. We will also assist and support such charitable institutions or purpose as the Committee from time to time determine.

To provide a conduit through public performances, for young children to express themselves through music, speech and drama and to showcase and nurture this talent in the performing arts.

Bringing good quality classical choral music to the public. Training the choir and encouraging music students to practice their craft (e.g. conducting, composing). Encouraging future choristers by having a zero membership fee for students. Presenting concerts by the choir including employing high class soloists and musicians.

We meet each week to learn music and put on 3 concerts each year which we promote to the wider public. Our aims are to promote singing and choral music within the community.

We run regular music sessions specifically for children who need extra support with communication and interaction. In small, accessible groups, signs and symbols are used alongside spoken language in songs and musical activities, to help understanding and choice-making. we operate in the NG9 area, attracting families from across the East Midlands.

PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES FOR CLUBS AND SOCIETIES IN AND AROUND THE VILLAGE OF ABERGYNOLWYN. CATERING FOR PARTIES, CONCERTS, FUNCTIONS AND CONFERENCES. LEASING COMMUNITY CAFE. SITE OF (SNOWDONIA NATIONAL PARK) TOURIST INFORMATION POINT. SERVING AS LOCAL POLLING STATION AND VENUE EDUCATIONAL CLASSES RUN BY A LOCAL COLLEGE.

Local organisations use the facilities for fund raising-raising events,meetings,etc.and the Town Council uses the building to provide services to the community.The facilities are also used for parties,receptions,music rehearsals,drama classes,lectures and continues to be used as a venue for children's birthday parties.

Advancement of visual arts, music, written and spoken word for the benefit of the public in Wooler and the surrounding area of Glendale, Northumberland, by organising and presenting public events including concerts, performances, exhibitions, classes and creative workshops to enable local people to experience and encounter different art forms and to participate in new forms of artistic expression.

Cadishead Public Band fulfils the following objectives to the public's benefit: a) provides premises in which musical tuition, rehearsals and related functions can occurb) provides free brass band instruments and uniforms and tuition, c) offers membership to all, d) organises concerts and musical events for the enjoyment of all and e) supports local organisations in their activities.

The choir's objectives are to educate our members and the public in music, by the presentation of concerts and other activities. We normally promote four major concerts (including one in aid of a local charity) in Mill Hill, North London, and undertake a short trip each year.

LTS Academy offers Musical Theatre, Dance, Drama and Singing training to local children from the age of three to sixteen years of age.

A mixed choir rehearsing every Tuesday evening from Sept - end May. Three concerts are held every year.

The study and practice of choral music in order to foster the public knowledge and appreciation of such music in the Surrey area by means of public performance and to assist and further such charitable institutions and charitable purposes as the committee determine from time to time.

The object of the club shall be to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of musical comedy in all its aspects by the presentation of public performances and by such ways as the society through its committee shall determine from time to time.

A Musical Society with a local catchment from Warwick, Kenilworth and Leamington Spa with members also coming from further afield. Members are welcome from all walks of life and age is not a restriction.

The Village Hall is maintained by our charity to provide activities compatible with our charity aims. Includes running groups for the good of the local community, such as friendship groups, events such as seasonal fairs, entertainment eg ceilidh, coffee mornings, music, Christmas day dinner for those who may be alone. Hall is hired out for activities such dance, yoga, zumba, pilates,kurling,etc
