Arts Charities That specialise in Music

Amateur musical society presenting musicals, revues and pantomimes for audiences in the local area. Always open to welcome new members from 16 years of ages. We fundraise from the public to help raise money for our charity.

The objectives of the charity are as follows:-i) To advance the musical education of young people in the appreciation of the works of Ricahrd Wagner.ii) To promote and organise public performances of the works of Richard Wagner.iii) To promote and organise other cultural and educational activities relevant to the study and appreciation of the music of Richard Wagner.

We provide a unique service to people with life limiting illnesses, by organising a series of outings for them throughout their illness. Each applicant has their own ambassador who organises their outings and keeps in touch with the family.Our grants for music and sport give opportunities to young people who may not otherwise be able to afford to maximise their talent.

Promoting choral music in North Devon, by the performance of public choral concerts.

The provision of arts-based events and activities for and in collaboration with educational establishments and the wider community of East London.

TO PROMOTE BRASS BANDS AND BRASS BAND MUSIC IN WALSALL, WEST MIDLANDS AND OUTER REGIONS, BY THE FORMATION AND ONWARD DEVELOPMENT OF A BRASS BAND, TO COMPETE IN COMPETITIONS, GIVE CONCERTS, SUPPORT CHARITIES AND GIVE BRASS AND PERCUSSION TRAINING TO ALL INTERESTED INDIVIDUALS.

PROVIDE GRANTS TO STUDENTS / RESEARCHERS IN BIOLOGICAL, CHEMICAL, BOTANICAL AND FOOD SCIENCES.CANDIDATES IN LANGUAGE, MUSIC AND ART MAY ALSO BE CONSIDERED

Community group use of all ages in activities ranging from Kick boxing, weight watching, art classes, dance classes,Town meetings. Children's activitiesCraft fairs, fund raising activities.Visiting drama, music and ballet companies. Meetings by community and corporate groups. The rehearsal and production of amateur musical shows for public entertainment and education. If and when finances allow, donations are made to local charities.

THE TRUST GIVES FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ORGANISATIONS RUNNING ACTIVITIES WHICH CONTINUE THE ORIGINAL AIMS AND IDEALS OF ERNEST READ (WHO FOUNDED THE ERNEST READ SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA IN 1931, TO GIVE OPPORTUNITIES FOR MUSIC STUDENTS, ADVANCED AMATEURS, TEACHERS AND PROFESSIONALS TO EXPAND THEIR CONCERT REPERTOIRE). THE ORCHESTRA RECEIVES TRUST INCOME TO SUPPORT ITS CONTINUATION OF THIS CONCEPT.

Performing Musical Shows

We are a multi activity social inclusion charity running at least 4 groups a week on Zoom, plus at least 1 monthly meet up in person in London. Zoom events: concerts, audio described (AD) body conditioning, AD Zumba, AD chair yoga, brain aerobics, aerobics for the memory, quizzes, poetry appreciation, cookery, a book club, guest speakers and mental health wellbeing sessions.

Providing the opportunity for young , gifted, musicians from three European Countries to perform together and receive tuition from recognized international tutors and performers.Providing the opportunity for the development of international understanding between the young people involved

The provision of a village hall for the benefit of the inhabitants and organisations in Dalston Parish for meetings, social events, dances, exhibitions, concerts, plays, classes and the like.

Hire the hall for local meetings of church groups, 7th Headington Brownies, local nursery, exercise classes, ballet & modern dance classes, musical rehearsals, activities including book clubs, children and family parties, wedding receptions, baptism celebrations, plus fundraising events, i.e. local craft markets, quiz and musical evenings, support for other fundraising events, e.g. Parkinsons UK

The organisation activities are as follow: Providing faith based music tuition and education, to churches and the wider community of Birmingham and the West Midlands. Organised and Adhoc concerts, and in the future, to do yearly Gospels festivals, Competitions, and to offer vocal and instrumental tuition to schools.

Bring together small choirs and individual singers across Cumbria, especially the northern half, to perform large scale works usually with professional musicians/orchestra.

The principal activities of the Society are the presentation of two productions each year (either musical or operatic).

Local community Choral Society - no auditions required. Performing 2 or 3 major concerts per year, plus occasional workshops.

Addressing barriers to learning in the most vulnerable children from age 2 onwards through training and one to one support. The charity also provides enrichment activities in the areas of music and the arts.

To preserve the style and to encourage the singing of barbershop harmony, both in chorus and quartet.To promote friendship through harmony.To advance, improve and maintain public education in an appreciation of the art and science of barbershop singing in all its aspects by the presentation of public barbershop concerts and the provision of educational workshops for members of thepublic.

Promotion of choral music in the Sutton Coldfield area by organising and training a choir which performs at least two public concerts each year.

Trains, educates and give young persons (many disadvantaged) responsibilities through experience of team work and comradship by using maritime disciplines such as sailing, field activities, classroom work in navigation and life skills including brass band playing.

The aims and objectives of the Orchestra is the enjoyment, practice and public performance of orchestral music by amateur players from the local and surrounding communities.
