Arts Charities That specialise in Music

Our Charity activities include providing various activities to promote development for our members such as specialised speech & language therapy, drama, music & signing sessions. We also have regular social events to help promote self esteem & social inclusion. We support families & aim to provide information to both parents/carers & professionals.

Activities are carried out in accordance with THe Scout Association Policy Organisation and Rules. These include camping, expedtions, canoeing, sports, social activities, music, human relationships and many more.All activities are regulated to siut the different age ranges and acheivemnts are gained through a series of award schemes

We have a programme that is wide and varied provided by 29 interest groups. It ranges from history, classical music, antiques and collectibles, bowls, bridge, soft tennis, gardening, theatre visits, walking and wine appreciation, the latter activity boasts three separate groups which says as much about conviviality as oenology! We cater for 258 members.

The purpose of The Nottingham Education Trust is advance the education of young people, under the age of 21 and permanently resident in the City of Nottingham to pursue activities outside of their formal education, particularly in Music & the Arts, the Sciences, Languages, Travel & Cultural Experience, Sports & Outdoor & Adventurous pursuits, who would otherwise not have the opportunity.

We run a mobile Food-Bank to provide relief to those in short term crisis in Higham Ferrers and the surrounding towns.We also provide 'Higham Ferrers Free 4 All Music' to aid Mental Health and Wellbeing.We run a Befriending Service for the older adults in Higham Ferrers and the surrounding towns.We provide free phone and chat for older people to tackle loneliness and isolation.

Promoting Brass Band music making and encourage interested individuals to join in a group to learn rudiments of music.

We are a music promotion society.

We are local youth organisation who educate young people in the performing art of colour guard this includes music, dance and movement.

We are an amateur operatic society focusing on the works of Gilbert & Sullivan (G&S). Our activities include fully staged and concert performances of G & S and some other works along with associated rehearsal activities for such productions.

The Society organises a series of concerts in the last week of July in each year and sometimes in the winter to raise funds for the July week. We have our own visiting orchestra and chamber group and also arrange a recital given by a talented local young performer.

To advance the musical education of students at schools and colleges in the Southampton region by providing facilities and funds for the Southampton Youth Orchestras which are not normally provided by Southampton City Council.

The Trowbridge Symphony Orchestra (TSO) performs three main concerts a year with a view to presenting high quality classical music to audiences at reasonable admission prices. We are keen to encourage young musicians (e.g. through an active association with Wiltshire Young Musicians, another local charity) and don't charge subscriptions for people in full time education.

Overall generation of fundraising to be able to support individuals, groups and organisations in the Aberystwyth area and wider afield in line with our Charitable Aims; including donations, public cash collections, raffles, concerts, and other community fundraising events.

Our aim is to promote Bushey as a vibrant place to live and work; work with others who share the same aims; encourage local creativity and to help inspire active participation. We do this by organising and promoting music, artistic, educational, health and wellbeing, and leisure time activities. These take place during the festival period in July and at various times during the year.

Baroque In The North is a period-instrument ensemble specialising in performances of 17th-18th century music. Their concerts and recordings provide professional performance opportunities and work experience for early career performers and recent graduates. They work closely with local choirs, and deliver workshops aimed at young people, students, graduates, music teachers and amateurs.

East Knoyle village hall is for all the community to be used for social and recreational purposes. It is available for rental by both residents and non residents for weddings, special events, meetings, concerts etc.

Advancing the art of music in Hitchin and surrounding area for public benefit by: Offering training and coaching to brass musicians of all ages to enable them to play to a standard ready for public performance and to develop their musical abilities; Performing public concerts of varied and informative programmes; Collaborating with other groups and individuals to enhance the offering to audiences.

The Charity's main activity during the year was the Jazz Festival held over the last weekend in June.In addition there is an educational programme for a new generation of young musicians.

New London Singers is an organisation of volunteers promoting and providing choral music to the general public primarily in London, and supporting music students through sponsorship and commissioning of new music compositions

To educate the public in the performance & appreciation of choral singing by concerts, at least three per year.

Hire regular meeting place for monthly gathering of members of the club, every second Tuesday of the month, and for ladies only on last Thursday of the month, at St. Lawrence Church Hall, Harrow. Arrange dinner with music at two Eid festivals and Bengali new years day; Christmas and New years dinner. Arrange weekly Yoga sessions on Wednesdays, annual day trip and over night stay trips by coach.

PROFESSIONAL ORCHESTRA BASED IN KENT; WORK INCLUDES EDUCATION OUTREACH PROJECTS WITH SCHOOLS AND BRINGING MUSIC TO NEW AUDIENCES. ALSO PROVIDES PERFORMANCE PLATFORM FOR OUTSTANDING YOUNG SOLOISTS. ALSO AVAILABLE FOR WORK WITH CHORAL AND OPERA ENSEMBLES AND FOR HELP TO PROMOTE WORK OF NEW COMPOSERS.

Founded as Camden Chamber Orchestra in 1980, we changed our name in 2013 to reflect better our size and repertoire.
