Arts Charities That specialise in Music

We provide projects in music & arts aimed at 4 key groups, children, retired people, the disabled & those in social & economic deprivation.We run choirs for ages 4-80, & singing groups for adults with mental & physical disabilities, stroke survivors, those with dementia & Age UK. We run arts days with a variety of activities & inter-generational projects that connect the young with the elderly.

Charlton Kings Choral Society performs sacred and secular choral music to a high standard for the benefit of its members, and to promote and sustain musical cultural life in our local area and beyond. We take pride in including unjustly neglected works by British composers in our concert programmes and in the commissioning of new choral music from English composers.

Cantorum Choir's activity is the rehearsal and public performance of choral music.

Classical Music Orchestra

The objectives of the charity are to advance the education of the public in the appreciation of orchestral music by the provision of public performances.

Black Mountain Jazz operates from Abergavenny and advances the arts for the public benefit by promoting jazz music in all its forms. This includes regular 'live' performances, featuring some of the best musicians in the UK and from abroad. It also produces virtual material that can be widely enjoyed. Additionally, it organises workshops to meet diverse interests, including a youth big band.

The Chorus exists to give people in Greater Manchester who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or another minority sexual/gender identity the opportunity to make music in a friendly, safe environment. Its objects are to promote, improve, develop and maintain appreciation of and education of the public in the art and science of music, often through the presentation of public concerts

The object of the Society is to advance public education in Havering, the surrounding boroughs, Essex and Greater London through the presentation and promotion of musicals, concerts, operettas and other musical works and to advance education in the dramatic arts through membership of the Society giving the opportunity to perform to adults and, where appropriate, children of the area.

Performs at various concerts to support local churches and charities.Sings at various local community events.Represents Warrington and the North West of England by competing and touring.

Our advance performing arts and theatrical performance inthe local community. We stage staging two to three plays ormusicals per annum. Members and in some case non-members experienceacting, dance, performance of music, as well as the design andproduction of sets, costumes and props, stage management, lighting, sound, front ofhouse management and script writing.

The Music Fund for Cuba supports the development of music and performing arts in Cuba. The MFFC works to advance the education of the public, in particular children and young people, via the supply of musical equipment and materials to students, musical schools and performing artists within Cuba, including support for health/wellbeing. The charity was established in memory of singer Kirsty MacColl

Through Music and Singing the Young Voices Foundation helps children and young people by:1. Giving grants to increase opportunities and experiences.2. Developing and delivering music and singing projects3. Projects that support the professional development of leaders and teachers.4. Raising funds to support the above work.

The Crown of Glory Christian Fellowship proclaims the Gospel by holding evangelistic crusade and concerts in accordance with the statement of belief of the church. We send boxes of goods and clothes to the needy and less fortunate families in the Philippines. We also give financial support to unemployed and homeless people and help them find a job. We give aid to the victims of calamities.

TOPS on Stage provide management and find raising support to Thurrock Operatic Society in order that local citizens may enjoy all forms of musical theatre. The fund raising efforts of the charity help to support the broad challenges and opportunities in musical theatre making participation and viewing accessible by all. In particular, we encourage and support the development of young people

Putting on occasional events, concerts etc. to promote the music of Peter Warlock. Keeping his music in print, and promoting recordings of it. Producing a twice yearly newsletter that contains articles on Warlock, latest news, etc.

The City of Bristol Brass Band will carry out its aims by; 1. Providing appropriate amenities for the furtherance of music-making through teaching and playing of brass instruments involvingall age groups within (primarily) the Bristol area. 2. Seeking to improve the band's musical standards by rehearsal, and competition against other brass bands, and by playing concerts.

Providing a weekly meeting place for numerous community activities such as dancing, pilates, yoga, children's groups for music,etc,, Darby & Joan Club for the elderly. In addition there are random weekly events for adult and children,s parties and Village events

The Objects of the Society shall be to improve, educate and cultivate the public taste in Musical Theatre. The Society produces two Musical Theatre productions each year, in May and November. From time to time the Society will take part in smaller charitable concerts.

ALSO SUPPORT, ADVICE AND INFORMATION ON SEXUAL HEALTH INCLUDING SAFEGUARDING AND CONTRACEPTION: DRUGS AND SMOKING AWARENESS, HEALTHY EATING. SOCIAL ACTIVITIES EG. GAMES, QUIZZES, POOL, TELEVISION, VIDEO AND MUSIC.

We foster public knowledge & appreciation of choral music through public performance, by operating as a choir in the Wessex Region & beyond. 'Public performance' covers a range of events including formal & informal concerts, flash-mobs, social singing, entertaining the public at events, and performing in festivals & competitions. We also hold open rehearsals for men wishing to learn more.
