Arts Charities That specialise in Music

We seek to further the understanding and appreciation of choral music with an emphasis on male voices. We offer concerts to support othercharities in raising funds whilst, at the same time, bringing a wider audience to the experience of listening to Male Voice choirs. We join with other Male Voice choirs throughout our region to enhance the quality of the music and increase membership.

To promote, improve and develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of choral music in all its aspects, by the presentation of choral concerts and by such other ways as the choir, through its committee, shall determine from time to time.

We play music to the public and also teach people of all ages to play a musical instrument.we perform in and around Nottinghan but have also play further afield

The object of the Band is to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in particular brass band music by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other ways as the Band through its Committee shall determine from time to time.

CURRENTLY 3 CONCERTS EACH YEAR OF CHORAL WORKS ARE PRESENTED. AT LEAST ONE OF THESE IS ACCOMPANIED BY FULL ORCHESTRA AND SOLOISTS AS NECESSARY.ALSO A CHRISTMAS CONCERT.MEMBERS MEET WEEKLY BETWEEN SEPTEMBER AND MID MAY TO PREPARE FOR THESE OCCASIONS EXCEPT DURING SCHOOL. HOLIDAYS..

The main objects of Goring Chamber Choir CIO are:1) to promote choral music by the presentation of public choral concerts.2) supporting other charities.Concerts are normally performed in or near Goring On Thames in Oxfordshire. Collections for charity are occasionally held at a concert.

The Orchestra will general 3 public concerts each year. Concert proceeds may go to another charity (e.g. previously St Peter's Hospice and Save The Children have been chosen).
