The Bush Centre is a day centre for the elderly inhabitants of Bampton and surrounding villages. It meets weekly and provides a hot two course meal as well as morning coffee and afternoon tea. A variety of talks, musical entertainment and outings support social stimulation.

The Friends support a variety of projects to do with the fabric, music or fittings of Ripon Cathedral

HOLDING VARIOUS CHARITABLE EVENTS SUCH AS GOLF DAYS , YOUTH MAKES MUSIC AND ART. MAKING DONATIONS TO SHELTERBOX, MARY'S MEALS , ROTARY FOUNDATION, & VARIOUS DONATIONS TO LOCAL INDIVIDUALS AND TO SMALL LOCAL and UK REGISTERED INTERNATIONAL CHARITY DONATIONS.

The orchestra performs 6 concerts per year in Derby and the surrounding area. These comprise four concerts with classical works, one at Christmas with popular music for families and one aimed at children. The orchestra is keen to widen access to both its players and to audiences. We offer concessions to seniors and students both on players' subscriptions and on the entrance fee to most concerts.

Promotion and performance of choral music of all periods.

The study and practice of choral music, and fostering public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance. To support and participate in the Leith Hill Musical Festival.

Learning and playing brass instruments and percussion. Taking part in civic ceremonies, contests, carnivals and concerts, as well as informal outdoor events.

To foster the love of music in town, village & school by affording small choirs the means of raising their standards of singing and musical appreciation through competition or other form of adjudication and combined public performance. The latter is achieved by holding an annual festival with public performances of major choral works at Winchester Cathedral and Romsey Abbey.

The site is a candidate for World Heritage Status. At present the charity provides a cafe and guest shop for visitors, accommodation for conferences and party bookings, historical tours, maintaining the site for access to the public on free entry. The activities of the charity will seek funds from sales, donations, concerts, arts exhibitions and events, public lectures, property and bequests.

Solihull Choral Society promotes a regular series of choral concerts in the area. We have a broadly based membership with the ages of singers ranging from 16 to 70+. Young singers enjoy free membership and are paid a bursary.We promote concerts involving the best professional soloists and orchestras and have a wide repertoire with works from the baroque to the 21st centuary.

The promotion and support of artistic and cultural events including, but not limited to music, theatre, comedy and spoken word, in the parish of Newbald and surrounding parishes.

The Empire Hall is a village hall for annual events (eg flower show/harvest supper/church Christmas fair/ Easter Market), village organisations (eg parish council, badminton, Lunch and Thursday Clubs) and weekly well being activities. Its stage hosts plays/films/concerts. It is bookable for parties, dances, meetings, classes and elections. It is an essential part of the fabric of the village.

In planning our activities for the year, regard has been given to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit. We have given four concerts of classical works by various composers. These concerts were all open to the public and were advertised on our website. At each of these concerts, concessionary ticket prices were available for the unemployed, children and senior citizens.

TO ADVANCE THE ART OF MUSIC, PARTICULARLY REGGAE AND MUSIC OF JAMAICAN ORIGIN FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY PERFORMING SUCH MUSIC TO THE PUBLIC AND PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES TO DEVELOP MUSICAL SKILLS.

The Society's objectives are to educate the public in the art and science of music and to futher the development of public appreciation and taste in music and for such other charitiable purposes as the Committee may from time to time require. It achieves these objectives through the presentation of concerts and participation in music festivals.

To assist and train singers/musicians by way of scholarships or other means and to provide training, instruction & master classes for signers/musicians. To fund and provide support for singing teachers to enable them to research singing and vocal techniques and to promote educational facilities.

We undertake a range of fundraising activities to support music education at Egglescliffe School and its nearby primary schools. These include social and music events to raise funds to buy new musical instruments for loan to students. These funds have been used towards the purchase of new musical instruments and equipments for loan to students.

The aims of the society are primarily realised by promoting professional concerts of music. During the year we promoted several such concerts. A programme of events for the next year has been arranged and the brochure giving details of these activities and of the society generally is readily available to the public.

Raising funds for school facilities including outings and activities, music & sporting projects and equipment for children to use inside and outside.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHOIR SHALL BE TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE ARTS AND SCIENCES, IN PARTICULAR THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC, BY THE PRESENTATION OF CONCERTS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

The Trust operates an orchestra which performs typically four concerts each season in Berkhamsted. The orchestra consists of both professional and amateur musicians and brings major works to a small market town. The trust also aims to make young people enthusiastic about classical music.

We organise an annual festival on The Roseland Peninsula Cornwall during April & the beginning of May. The aim is 1. To provide quality arts events for residents in a remote rural area.2. To encourage tourism and extend the season into the autumn for holiday makers. 3. To provide a platform for local artists and musicians.4. To offer local students arts opportunities.
