The society performs a series of concerts for the public in the Bristol area, playing mostly symphonic and large-scale choral works. The orchestra works with a professional musical director and aims to achieve a high standard of performance.

Worthing Choral Society aims to provide at least three public Choral concerts a year,. It also undertakes charity concerts for both local and national organistions each year. It supports local luncheon clubs for the elderly. Occasional choral trips abroad are also a feature of the choir. On request we provide small choirs for weddings and other more personal occasions.

To provide a community hall.The centre is undergoing restoration and when re-opened later in 2014 we will be organising functions and events to bring people into the town and the centre, such as Cinema, Theatre, Folk Clubs, live music events, artistic exhibitions and community information services, training and educational events.

Advancement of the Christian religion mainly through the publication of a book of Christian Praise containing both Psalms and Hymns.

A musical festival whose objective is to promote high standards in the arts; in particular music and speech in all their branches. An annual competitive festival is held along with school workshops, currently held when it is feasible to do so.

The purpose of Chorleywood Music is to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of music in all its aspects. The society presents public concerts and performances at venues in Chorleywood, and runs events at which children and adults can try out musical instruments and/or participate in rehearsals and short informal concerts with Chorleywood Orchestra.

Charitable activities mainly involve festivals organised in the year such as various music competitions like Guitar competitions, modern pop competitions and others. Other fundraising activities are organized as and when possible.

To advance the musical education of young persons under the age of 25 in the Congleton area by the provision of training in orchestral playing and the presentation of public concerts

The Charity's objects are the advancement of the arts through the presentation of classical music to local communities in Howdenshire, and elsewhere in the UK, through free concerts, and to advance the education of the public by providing educational activities in the subject of classical music.

We help retired people with social, educational & recreational activities. Our groups cover history, languages, art, music & general discussion. Our games groups cover bridge, karaoke, scrabble & backgammon & there are also walking & exercise groups. We have approx. 650 members and are committed to adult learning.

BRINGING CUTURE AND ARTS TO LOCAL PEOPLE & RAISING FUNDS THROUGH SINGING AND PROVIDING MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT. INTRODUCING YOUNG PEOPLE TO CLASSICAL MUSIC AND PROVIDING A PLATFORM FOR THEM TO PERFORM AS INDIVIDUALS AND AS PART OF A LARGER GROUP.

Brass Band

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals.

The orchestra allows members who are amateur musicians to practise and rehearse classical orchestral music under the guidance of a professional conductor. The orchestra normally gives three concerts a year which are open to the general public.

The Basement Studio targets social exclusion by providing youth work and music opportunities for 11 to 25 year olds in Bristol.

901Troop Marine Cadets provides opportunities for young people in East Anglia to develop into responsible, dependable and useful members of society. The Troop promote self-discipline and comradeship. The Troop teach the basic principles of leadership in preparation for adult life, through a system of military discipline, Royal Marine ethos, adventorous training and the discipline of music.
