Arts Charities That specialise in Music

The Friends of Centre Stage exists to ensure all children and young adults can access the wonderful world of musical theatre at, or through, Centre Stage Theatre Academy (CSTA). We provide equipment and funding to CSTA to enhance their offering to all students as well as grant funding for those who would otherwise be unable to afford to attend.

To be a choir that is recognized for the excellence of its singing, and to use that attribute to generate funds for worthy causes. To stage high quality and popular concerts and use the income generated by such concerts, to donate to charitable and worthy organisations, and to fund the ongoing costs and development of the choir.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals

Founded in 1880. In Behala, India it funds: an orphanage for 135+ boys between the ages of 4 & 15, educated & taught music; old peoples home; ENT/eye clinics.It funds in Bangladesh: Barisal - high & primary schools, boys & girls hostels, girls orphanage & a medical centre; Jobarpar - an indigenous sisterhood (CSS), oversees girls hostel & a play centre & helps in the diocesan primary school.

The Lanner and District Silver Band promotes the study, practice and encouragement of brass music in all its forms in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance or otherwise, including training and education of brass and percussion musicians.

Promotion of 6 professional concerts, occasional educational concerts and members activities.

The Society usually puts on 3 public concerts of choral music during the year, and participates in the Leith Hill Musical Festival (a competitive Festival).Students from the secondary boarding school in Mickleham are encouraged to join the regular members in these concerts.

We provide classical music concerts for the public in the local rural area. We also grant an annual scholarship to an outstanding local music student and organise masterclasses with professional musicians for local school pupils.

We give concerts in classical choral music, with an emphasis on 20th and 21st century repertoire, mainly in the London area.

Promotion of amateur and educational music-making throughout the United Kingdom by means of a lending library of musical scores.

The objects of the charity are:To support such general charitable purposes as the trustees may in their absolute discretion determine for the public benefit in the village of Bures and the surrounding area.

This highly acclaimed orchestra draws top talent from across the South Coast of England, delivering exceptional performances and fostering a vibrant musical community. It was founded in 2016 on the belief that there was a desire in the area for an exceptionally high-quality amateur orchestra that bridged the gap between an inclusive one and a fully-fledged professional one.

Presentation of concerts and other musical activities

Raising money for good causes through Street Collections, Fun Runs, Musical Concerts, Quizzes and other events involving the local community.Charitable work in local community, and for donations to international charities and appeals, and to local and national charities, organisations and good causes.

Local community choir, aiming to promote, improve, develop & maintain public education in & appreciation of the art & science of choral music in all its aspects through rehearsing & presenting public choral concerts.

Green park with open access to public, children's play area, youth football, charity fundraising activities e.g. fete, musical festival and general ad hoc activities. Eight historical Heritage Trail Display Units installed to acknowledge the Centenary of the Trust in 2014 and for educational reasons.

Performance of choral music for the local community

The promotion of competitive festivals for dance, drama/speech & music. At these bursaries may be awarded or fees paid for the further development of competitors. We also hold an annual drama summer school.

Axminster & District Choral Society is a small, local choral choir, averaging 80 singers, with a musical director. We perform three concerts yearly, in December, April, and June to a local audience of approximately 250, as well as 1 or 2 singing workshops.

To educate the public in the art and science of music and, in particular, of choral music by the presentation of public concerts and other such ways as the Society, through its committee shall determine from time to time

Educating the public in the art and science of music by the presentation of concerts by internationally renowned musicians, young performers together with other allied activities.

The charity put on activities for the children ,their families and local community to raise funds for the school. The activities include discos for all , a Christmas Fete or Carol Concert , Summer Bazaar and running a lottery . School and the charity discuss how best to use the funds , this can include contributions for trips , equipment or additional items.

The charity continues to hold regular Sunday services, which remain central to our activities, with a focus on preaching the Word. Additionally, we conduct home and hospital visits, deliverance and healing services, and offer family counseling. We also organize music rehearsals, youth evangelism training, support for members, and collaborate with other churches to foster a faith-led community.
