Arts Charities That specialise in Music

We are a choir of around 30 voices who perform two to three concerts a year in Newbury and the surrounding villages. Usually two of these concerts are with orchestra, the players of which are local and/or young musicians. The choir sings music of all periods from AD1500 to the present day. To encourage young musicians and audiences we offer them free or heavily reduced ticket prices

Village Hall which provides facilities for other groups and also to put on our own events such as music festivals, craft shows, Bingo nights, Pub nights, sporting events.

Preparing for and presenting three to four choral concerts per year; co-operation and involvement in these activities with local schools, orchestras and other organisations; singing for charity.

Audley Brass Band performs on a regularly basis at either our own concerts or as a contributor to other concerts staged by charities, schools, village associations, churches, etc. We rehearse twice a week to improve the quality of the Band. We have a training band which practices once a week and when members of this band are ready to move to the main band, Audley Brass, this is encouraged.

Reading Phoenix Choir is a mixed voice amateur choir. Our objectives are to educate the public in the art and science of music by the presentation of concerts and other activities. To achieve as high a standard as possible in the performance of choral and allied music. To arrange concerts, to enter music festivals and to participate in concerts arranged by other organisations.

The promotion of classical music concerts in Keswick together with giving assistance and encouragement in the development of an interest among the young people of the area in listening to, learning about, and performing music.

Allocate grants to advance the education of the public in the appreciation of music; in particular music for chorus, choir, vocal consort or solo voices.

In a County Durham area of high unemployment,through workshops and rehearsals,the Youth Theatre encourages an interest,and offers young people training ,in all areas of Theatre;singing,dancing,acting,technical and design,resulting in 2 annual productions and several concerts in the community,where all aspects are performed,designed,constructed and operated by young people.

Skipton Music, has, for the past 70 years, provided first class, professional classical music concerts for the benefit of Skipton and the surrounding area in this rural part of North Yorkshire. We organise 6 concerts annually, one per month from October to March. We have approximately 220 Season Ticket subscribers plus many people who buy tickets at the door for one off concerts.

The performance of amateur musical theatre in the Chichester district including at least one major musical per year and a number of concerts supporting local events and charities.

We offers help to young persons in the Arts, for young people who have low support needs including student in music, acting and the making of programs that entertainment and educate.

Supporting Local churches in worship areas for example music, multimedia, format. We offer guidance on different styles of worship and give practical help as well as encouragement.We also organise events i.e music events and conferences.

Arco provides high quality music education and bursaries to young people in the Londonborough of Islington. We raise awareness of BAME and SEN/D musicians and provide accessibleopportunities to participate in classical music to young people in the London borough of Islington.We do this through active engagement with the community of the London borough of Islington.

Music Alive provides opportunities for and with people with disabilities to create and enjoy music in Wiltshire and the surrounding counties. Our activities aim to support the long-term development of disabled people and encourage the integration of disabled and non-disabled people through music and social interaction.

To assist in the preservation of the properties of the Parish Church of All Saints' Braunston, Northants with a view to providing the village with a place for concerts and similar events as well as worship.To preserve the architectural heritage of the building and keep the surrounding land in an attractive state for the enjoyment of present and future generations.
