Arts Charities That specialise in Music

The Highbridge Festival of the Arts exists as a not for profit organisation. We offer local people of any age, gender, ethic group, able bodied or disabled, the opportunity to give a public performance of the performing arts. i.e. Dance, Speech and Drama and Music Vocal or Instrumental.

We raise money which is used to fund projects & purchase equipment that enriches the lives of the children within Molescroft Primary School. We do this by organising events such as summer/Christmas Fayre, discos, cinema nights & band nights. We also raise funds by serving refreshments at as many school events as we can eg sports days/tournaments, concerts, shows & parents evenings.

Mixed voice choral singing and giving concerts for the general public, as well as supportinga different charity each year.

Horsell Sings! (aka. Horsell Community Choir) is open to everyone and the choir is advertised through its website: https://horsellsings.org.uk and social media. All songs are taught aurally by the choir leader in three or four part harmony, and rehearsals take place in Horsell Village School. Twice a year the choir performs in a local venue, usually in collaboration with other local musicians.

The Society's objective is to promote and advance the education of the public in the appreciation and knowledge of music with particular reference to the horn as a solo instrument and in orchestral and chamber music. It also enables interested parties to receive a magazine and participate in festivals and events.

To advance the education, appreciation, and knowledge of the public in the art of classical music, through the promotion of classical music and live performance in general for the public benefit in and for Mid Wales. Activities include workshops, performances and other participatory activities.

The objects of this charity are to advance, promote and encourage generally and in particular by means of a competitive festival the study and practice of the arts of music,speech and drama.

Playing concerts in Taunton and the surrounding areas.

The furtherance of music performance, teaching and competition to the general public and to our peers.

The Symphony was formed in 1946 and provides the opportunity, both as performers and audience, for the people of Dartford and the surrounding area to enjoy music making of a high standard. Based the Mick Jagger Centre, the DSO continues to take music to the rural communities, is involved in music education projects, commissions new works. The DSO runs an annual Dartford Young Musician competition.

Educational and leisure activities which include the following, walking, gardening, bridge, line dancing, local history, art history, literature, creative writing. Hand bell ringing, practical art, creative writing, poetry reading, garden bowls, music appreciation, jazz appreciation.

London Euphonia Orchestra (LEO) is an amateur community orchestra based in the City of London. LEO aims to promote participation in orchestral music to people who live or work in the City by advancing, developing and maintaining public education in, and appreciation of, orchestral music, through presentation of public concerts.

General charitable purposes but in particular music and fisheries.

The Suffolk Sinfonia is a symphony orchestra based in Bury St Edmunds providing concerts and musical education to the community.

The Choir shall study and practice choral music in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance, or by giving or taking part in such musical events as the Committee recommends to the Choir, or competing at Music Festivals at the discretion of the Musical Director. To help such charitable institutions or purposes as the Committee shall determine.

The object of the Charity is to mount Royal Leamington Spa's annual music, speech and drama and dance festival

To foster a love and interest in music general and in particular, music for brass bands. to maintain and support the band by raising funds and to give instruction to young people and others of ether sex in all sections of the community including disabled unemployed and ethnic minorities in the playing and manipulation of instruments normally comprised in brass band and orchestras generally.

Focus on enhancing the opportunities and skills of young adults through Education, especially in Business, Music and Arts, and Personal Development. We target young people who are out of Education or employment, as well as those who are vulnerable to gangs and youth crime, by offering music workshops, courses, activities & mentoring programs, which can lead to employment within those sectors.

FSO aims to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other means as the society, shall determine from time to time. The society aims to provide a high standard of orchestral and performance opportunities for amateur musicians from Finchley and surrounding areas.

THE PROMOTION, IMPROVEMENT, DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF CHORAL SINGING AND MUSIC GENERALLY BY THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS AND IN SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE CHARITY THROUGH ITS COMMITTEE SHALL DETERMINE FROM TIME TO TIME.

To promote equality and diversity for the public benefit and in particular the elimination of discriminationon the grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity of those living in Bridlington and the surroundingareas.Deliver an annual Bridlington Pride event, a live music event marketed at the LGBT*community, but inclusive of all.

The charity currently operates in the Bury, Lancashire with a membership consisting a number of familiesPlans are in place to actively spread throughout Greater Manchester and then Nationally. We established an assembly of Spirit led-worship and biblical knowledge exchange that has resulted in improved lives, community coercion and advancement of religion. Built a musical band & Religious library.

Concerts to raise money for other charities, held in local churches and concert halls.

TO CONSERVE, MAINTAIN AND PROMOTE THE USE OF THE WORTHING WURLITZER ORGAN INSTALLED IN THE ASSEMBLY HALL WORTHING. PROMOTION OF THEATRE ORGAN CONCERTS WITH NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL ARTISTES OF THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE STANDARDS. ONGOING MAINTENANCE TO PRESERVE THE CAPABILITY OF THE ORGAN TO THE FINEST STANDARDS.
