Rising Tide is a music education and industry linked development charity, working with local people to raise aspirations and employment opportunities in the music and related industries. By using music, Rising Tide offers quality workshops to the community that re engage excluded young people and those deemed socially excluded.

The Band aims to entertain and educate the public, through the promotion of the practice of Brass Band Music. In addition, it acts in support of such other charities as its Trustees decide. Any person may apply to become a Member. Implicit with that Membership is the expectation that the Member will be willing and eligible to play at Contests entered by the Band.

Slaithwaite Brass Band has been producing music in the Colne Valley, near Huddersfield, since 1892. We perform at many concerts, events and contests each year. We practice at our purpose-built Bandroom, which is also available for all members of the local community to use for events.

The chair provides recreational and social activity for its members by rehearsing and giving performances to the public to encourage the appreciation of male choral music and to raise funds for local charities.

Enrichment of learning through school visits, visiting professionals i.e. theatre companies, musicians, etc. and book fairs.Fund raising to promote the above.

Operating in Somerset anad Dorset, delivering modern and relevant collective worship to primary schools. The use of multimedia and live music engages the children and young people and provides an opportunity for them to hear a gospel message that is relevant to them.

Perform concerts

We award grants to children/young people aged 25 and under in our area (Millom to The Green and Millom to Bootle) to help them fulfil their dreams. Including, college/university students, sports awards, dance and music.

Playgroup morning, Bingo Night, Quiz night, Women's Institute meetings, Bridge Club, Yoga, Table Tennis, Craft Club, Keep, Hall Hire, Hallmarked to level 2, holds a license for serving alcohol, playing recorded and live music.

On average the Society of Rotherfield Players puts on three productions. Early each year one of these is usuallly a pantomime, one other may be a musical and later in the year is a further production. New members are always welcome

To promote the appreciation of classical music by the presentation of concerts, particularly of chamber music.

The trust exists to assist young people living in the parishes of Cliddesden and Farleigh Wallop to further their academic, musical and physical education.

The society supports education and appreciation of music by hosting public concerts and encouraging performances and demonstrations from a range of instruments and voice, with a particular emphasis on the organ at Southend High School for Boys. Additionally, the organ's upkeep is supported by the society, and we undertake various fundraising activities to provide this support.

Providing a meeting place for community organisations in Denstone including a preschool playgroup and a club specifically for the elderly. There is also a stage for amateur dramatic and live music performances. Fund raising to support the maintenance and improvement of the facilities.

The objects of the Society are the learning and performance of choral music and to foster public interest and enjoyment of such music by means of public performance.

Classical music recitals

Promotes an appreciation of the art of music in all its aspects, by holding regular weekly rehearsals between September and April (approx 27 rehearsals in all) leading to two concerts per year with professional soloists and musicians.

Our objectives are:1. to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art/science of music in all its aspects including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals; and2. to further such charitable purpose or purposes as the Trustees in their absolute discretion shall think fit but in particular through the making of grants and donations.

Polymnia is a chamber choir of ~23 members who rehearse and perform concerts of choral music, of a wide range of genres from early music to the 21st century, to a high standard for the benefit of audiences mainly in and around Milton Keynes. Much of the music is performed a cappella but occasionally professional musicians are engaged to accompany the choir.

Award of medals, prizes and scholarships, the provision of live public performances, focusing on helping young musicians at the start of their professional careers, bringing live performances to diverse audiences without onerous pre-conditions. Outreach in schools. The support made available to musicians and music based projects in all areas of society confers immeasurable public benefit.
