PROMOTES CONCERTS. HELP EDUCATE THE PUBLIC WITH CLASSICAL MUSIC AND HELP THEM TO SING WITH US

We are a local choral society providing musical entertainment and a chance to sing for people in the Potters Bar Area of Hertfordshire and North London

Perform Choral Music giving approximately two concerts per season plus a Christmas Concert in Grantham. The Society is committed to encouraging young people to sing and has a Youth Choir which rehearses prior to the main choir rehearsal. Full details can be found on our website.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of the art of music, particularly brass band music through the operation of an amateur brass band, facilitating the musical education of its members, the presentation of public performances, entering into affiliation, association or membership with organisations for the promotion of brass band music.

Opened in 1974,the Centre is opened to all inhabitants of Yardley Wood and surrounding areas without restriction.Various groups meet on a regular basis ranging from, Self defence club, Dance Classes, Slimming club,Flower arranging, Sunday School. Provides public live orchestral and choral/orchestral concerts employing a wide repertoire. Gives local amateur and semi-professional musicians the opportunity to play together. Encourages the appreciation of classical/light classical music. Provides opportunities for young people to develop musical and listening skills. Works with other musical, educational and community groups on joint projects.

Winslow Activity Club is a small voluntary group who provide a limited but vital service to the profoundly physically and mentally disabled people in the Aylesbury area. Sessions include a range of activities such as, arts and crafts, aromatherapy and music.

The orchestra is established to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of orchestral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts. We generally perform 3 concerts per year at various venues round and about Peterborough, either on our own or in partnership with other musical societies.

Providing musical entertainment to the general public and learning opportunities in the art and science of brass, wind and percussion instruments to all members of the local community, e.g. Children/young people, elderly/older people, people with disabilities and the general public/mankind.

We are a multi-service regional organization to promote Chinese Music and traditional culture, a more active promotion of national culture in Britain and, by this interaction, to achieve mutual understanding, so that all ethnic communities have a harmonious relationship.Service includes: lunch club, tai chi class, dance & drummingworkshops, mandarin classes, teenage volunteer training and more.

We are a local choral society with members of all ages from Wendover and the surrounding area. We rehearse weekly and perform two concerts per year of a high standard using professional musicians. We are a charitable organisation whose aim is to provide a platform for talented young musicians to take part in a competition, bringing them the confidence, not only to perform in public but to have the experience of meeting and spending time with like-minded young people at a historic venue.

Village Hall for hiring for various activities including Social Club, Meetings, Bowls, Keep Fit, Pilates, Childrens Soft Play, Music and Movement, Friday Market, Luncheon Club etc.

We are custodians of the parish community centre and field. Events are held to generate income to maintain the property, cover by insurance, comply with requirements of fire, music, gambling etc. Local youth group, pensioners, other local groups use the facility.

B.G.C.A. provide creative and activities for all ages and abilities in the Hull area, which include pottery, art and crafts, a large community garden,food chain project, musical projects which include music and movement and our own skiffle band also the more traditional activities carpet bowls, karate, 55+ club, line dancing and work on a daily basis with excluded young people
