Performance of classical music for the local community

The Maidstone Singers seek to promote education in and understanding of music through concerts, and tours. It regularly performs with children and young adults, and supports local charities through the proceeds of its concerts

Weekly meetings Tuesday 10am-3pm. Led by organiser supported by volunteers. Transport, coffee, 2 course hot lunch, tea provided. Wide variety of activities, art, craft, music, games, exercises, speakers, parties (Christmas, birthday, Summer garden).footcare.

To maintain the Spencer Hall building it's contents and facilities for use by Sandridge Cricket Club, Sandridge Rovers Football Club, Sandridge Youth Club and the local community. Regular hirers include an after school and holiday club, a line dance class, and a children's music class. The hall holds approximately 120 people seated and is available for hire for weddings, parties etc.

The charity runs an annual music and speech competitive festival.

To organise and run an annual festival for music dance and speech, to give amateurs the opportunity to perform in public and have the opportunity to be invigilated by professionals to increase their confidence and have the chance to see and hear other performers.

This charity maintains a building for community activities ranging from further education classes, leisure courses, pantomime, concerts, band practice, hall for local school's PE and drama, community events and fund raising events.

FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN HERNE BAY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ARTS OF MUSIC, PERFORMANCE, LITERATURE AND THE VISUAL ARTS AND THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE CULTURE AND HERITAGE OF KENT, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE PROVISION OF AN ANNUAL FESTIVAL.

The Lewis Project charity has been set up to promote mental well being in young people over 16 through music. Our centre is based in Sevenoaks. It is fully equipped with musical instruments and a sound system where we create a relaxed environment for musicians to practice, rehearse, jam and collaborate.We provide workshops, vocal coaching and opportunities to elevate their musical skills.

RMVC presents concerts of male choral singing throughout Southern England and beyond, mainly in aid of charities. The choir also takes part occasionally in festivals, competitions and exchanges with other choirs in the UK and overseas. These events are funded by member contributions. RMVC has made a number of recordings and sells CDs, mainly at its concerts

The charity is focussed on preserving, developing and promoting British-Jewish choral heritage, bringing this unique music to audiences of all backgrounds across the UK and beyond. This to be done through the medium of liveperformances, recordings, films, commissioning of new music, and education programmes, with a view to creating better understanding about Jewish culture and religion.

We run workshops in primary and secondary schools which are music, mindfulness and animal based, they provide a positive message to the children, supporting them in their mental and emotional wellbeing.

Founded in 1968, the Rhondda Symphony Orchestra (RSO) is a leisure-time music group performing symphonic concerts to local communities in South Wales. With around 60 active members, the orchestra attracts young musicians, while many have remained with the orchestra for over 30 years. The RSO also awards annual bursaries to young musicians leaving school to help with their further development.

Educational talks, demonstrating the large collection of mechanical music items ie music boxes, polyphons, street pianos, fair organs & the wurlitzer theatre organ - to name a few, to educate all ages of the general public. preservation and restoration of mechanical music instruments. Organiser of events to show case the history and culture that has mostly been forgotten.

Rehearse and perform choral music.

The Canterbury Orchestra provides opportunities for amateur musicians to play major symphonic works to a high standard and gives 3-4 public concerts a year in the Canterbury area.

Provide three major annual events relating to Speech & Drama, Special Needs and Piano competitions aimed at participants aged under 7 to over 70 in Speech and Drama, Music and Creative Writing, including opportunities for people with special educational needs.

Advance,improve,develop and maintain public education in,and appreciation of, the art and science of choral music in all its aspects (in particular by way of the continuation of the tradition of Welsh choral music) by way of public concerts,social events and recital.To further such charitable purposes as the trustees in their absolute discretion shall think fit.

Children's Voices of Enfield aims to inspire young people aged 5 to 16 to achieve a high standard in choral singing, musicianship and vocal production in a welcoming environment. CVE is a non-auditioned, mixed choir singing a range of styles. We work with British composers, and choristers have opportunities to perform with other musical ensembles, and to take part in festivals and events.

We are a choir of about 34 members. We aim to contribute to the cultural life of S.E.Hampshire and W Sussex by giving about four concerts each year in which Renaissance, and other, choral sacred music is performed to a high standard for the benefit of both singers and audience.

Promotion of chamber music for the benefit of the public at affordable prices by the presentation of public concerts and recitals by professional musicians together with public lectures and social events and to encourage young audiences and to promote contemporary chamber music.

The Objects of the Choir are to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation to the public of choral or orchestral concerts and recitals. Our concert performances have increased to six a year.
