Witham Choral Society offers, without audition, the opportunity for anyone to learn about, improve and enjoy choral singing. To this end it rehearses weekly and gives 3 concerts with professional orchestra and soloists each year enabling people in the Witham area to learn about and appreciate the classical choral repertoire. The society supports local charities.

CHORAL SOCIETY PERFORMING REGULAR PUBLIC CONCERTS

An amateur symphony orchestra providing a cultural experience both to its members in rehearsals and to the audience at the public concerts which we perform, in Stroud, Gloucestershire and local area.

SCWB is a thriving organisation, playing an active part in the amateur musical community with a membership of around 50 players.

Support and promote public concerts, musical education, training and activities by providing or assisting in the provision of facilities and equipment to advance musical education. To support especially, but not exclusively the participants and supporters of the Centre for Wessex Young Musicians.

WE'VE ESTABLISHED A NATIONAL SURFING MUSEUM IN NORTH DEVON - PRESERVING UK SURF HERITAGE, CELEBRATING CURRENT ACHIEVEMENTS AND SHAPING THE FUTURE OF SURFING IN GREAT BRITAIN. THE CHARITY AIMS TO CREATE A CARBON NEUTRAL HOME, OFFERING A NEW COMMUNITY VENUE TO PROMOTE MUSIC, ART, FILM & CULTURAL EVENTS. PROMOTING CONSERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT, YOUTH OPPORTUNITIES, EDUCATION AND VOLUNTEERING.

Promotion of concerts/performances (free entry for some) for the surrounding community to entertain, to educate and to the demonstrate the capabilities of the brass band medium. Providing development opportunities through regular rehearsals inc. solo performance opportunities and by entering occasional competitions to ensure the standard of performance is maintained and improved were possible.

take part in charitable fund raising concerts, St. David's day concerts with local schools. Sing at residential homes at Christmas. Take part in remembrance/memorial services and local community events. Promote male voice choral singing in community and with visitors

Organise classical concerts in Milverton village church given by professional musicians of national and international standing. Arrange for the musicians to give workshops in the village primary school on the afternoon of the concerts.

To advance the appreciation, education and involvement in the arts in Littleborough for the public benefit, in particular but not exclusively, by the provision of an arts festival, workshops and public concerts.

The running, maintenance and improvement,of a village hall and in particular raising necessary finance.Arranging various activities in it for the benefit of the inhabitants of the immediate area and the public in general. Activities include concerts and other entertainments, art and craft exhibitions,jumble sales ,childrens' parties and general social gatherings

D'Arts provides creative workshops at weekends in Exeter for adults with learning disabilities and disabilities. We also put on events such as our annual weekend music and arts festival D'ArtsFest. We work with small creative organisations and individuals to deliver an interesting and diverse monthly programme. The days are supported by a group of dedicated volunteers.

The association was established to educate the public in the art and science of music and in particular the music of brass bands by the presentation of concerts and other activities including involvement in brass band contests.

We are a voluntary community organisation focussing on different activities, mainly sport, football, cricket and junior cricket, brass band and various community groups meet in our premises.

To advance the education of the general public in the appreciation and understanding of the musical arts, in particular, choral singing.

Quaker Music Network provides opportunities for Quakers and others to learn, practice and perform music together in ways that link to Quaker testimonies, worship and practices. We hold regular weekend events bringing participants together for chamber music, singing, and Quaker worship.

The Society organises an eclectic range of choral concerts, from traditional classical to modern music; itorganises rehearsals and workshops to enable members and participants to understand and appreciatebetter the content and construction of the works and then to perform the works to the public in order toconvey that understanding and appreciation to a wider audience

To enable people from the mid Northumberland area to come together to sing a wide range of Choral Music and to perform that Choral Music to communities large and small throughout Northumberland.

Our main activities have been the passion of structured activities and drop in facilities for young people.

Childrens Chance funds activities for children and young people, who, for financial reasons, would not otherwise have the chance. Examples are music and sports tuition. Grants are paid direct to the service provider (e.g. sports club or music teacher) not the child's family. The charity is run entirely by a single volunteer. Funds are raised from events, donations, individuals and organisations.

The charity is an amateur orchestra focusing on the historically informed performance of baroque music using authentic instruments. It runs workshops for amateur musicians and puts on public performances in and around London, frequently working with other charities in fundraising concerts.
