All our activities are for older people in our area to encourage learning, physical and social activities in later life : We arrange and organise educational study groups, lectures, educational outings, memory courses, first aid courses, physical activities (walking, pilates, tai chi), quizzes, concerts.

FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN, AND TO PROMOTE THEIR APPRECIATION OF MUSIC AND PERFORMING ARTS, BY MEANS OF, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY: THE PROVISION OF AN ANNUAL MUSIC FESTIVAL AND OTHER ASSOCIATED EVENTS; THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS FURTHERING THE SAME PURPOSE.

We are a traditional brass band operating in Maltby and the surrounding areas. We have a busy schedule of concerts and contests throughout the year. We also run a training band where we offer free tuition to children and adults who would like to learn to play a brass instrument.

Ysgol Gymraeg's PTA focuses its fund-raising activities on several key events held during the school year, as follows:Book Fair, November; Carol Singing, December; School Christmas Concert, December; Grand Spring Raffle, March; Sponsored Walk, May; School Summer Concert, June; School Sports, June; Annual Barbecue, July.

Sunday worship gathering, Prayer, Christian education like Bible study/seminars, Youth activities, Music class, Counselling and advice and Community activities.

Support of musical causes

Music Preserved was founded to preserve documents of public performances in recorded sound for future generations, securing, as far as possible, the integrity of the performances and the performance contexts.

The Eagley Band meets to learn, practice and rehearse band music as a group of musicians with an age range of 11 to 80 years. The band organises and plays at various concerts and contests which may include all members of the band or, on occasion, smaller groups of musicians. The band also has a social side where the members may meet for dining out and other activities.

To educate the public in the dramatic and operatic arts and to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said arts

The Sri Lanka Christian Association raises funds by staging various concerts, dances, fashion shows, etc. and also with the collection monies at our Annual Carol Service we help the poor and needy, especially children and other groups, including the aged, blind, orphanages, and various others who are unable to make a living in Sri Lanka.

The charity raises additional funds for one school to purchase additional items of resources, also supports school trips and enhancing the childrens education via purchasing musical instruments, outdoor play equipment, school tracksuits for teams etc. This is done from xmas fairs, summer fairs, coffee & cake mornings, easter egg hunts etc.

To build and maintain space and facilities for a school of music and film in Makeni, Sierra Leone, free at point of use for local young people of Makeni and the Bombali District, Sierra Leone. This includes a purpose-designed school building, teaching, musical instruments and film making and recording equipment, including cameras, editing facilities and computers; plus some food and transport.

Performs concerts of classical music throughout Gloucestershire

The Charity is a Music Festival in Lincolnshire which provides sites for competitors to perform both musical and speech activities to be judged by recognised adjudicators.

The Trustees assist people in pursuit of education. Grants are awarded towards the cost of university & college fees, books and materials, courses for students with special educational needs, school trips, music & dancing lessons, etc. Applicants must be resident within the 5 parishes of Kingstone, Thruxton, Allensmore, Eaton Bishop & Clehonger.

The society exists to promote the study and enjoyment of choral music for performance in the Guildford area of Surrey. Our ranks are open to all ages. Through our choice of repertoire we aim to extend the knowledge of the best choral tradition for the benefit of performers and audiences alike. Certain performances may be dedicated to selected local charities.

Croydon Symphonic Band actively strives to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects and by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals.

IMPROMPTU is an award winning ladies choir performing in competitions, concerts and music festivals throughout the year.

As a charity Flutes & Co exists to promote interest and skill in flute ensemble playing & to advance education in & appreciation of flute ensemble music in all its aspects. It is open to all who share our interests, grade 3 minimum standard.

We raise funds to provide our school with those extra items and equipment that cannot be provided through the school budget. Our aim is to enhance the school experience for all pupils at the school. We have provided an IT suite of laptop computers, adventure play equipment, playground signs and most recently decorated and equipped an international music room.
