TO ADVANCE THE MUSICAL EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ATTENDING SCHOOLS IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE AREA OF THE SOMERSET COUNTY COUNCIL EDUCATION AUTHORITY BY PROVIDING SUPPORT, FINANCIAL AND OTHERWISE, FOR THE STRODE SATURDAY MUSIC CLUB, SUCH MEANS AS THE COMMITTEE DEEMS FIT, PROVIDED THAT SUCH MEANS DO NOT CONTRAVENE COUNTY COUNCIL POLICY AND/OR REGULATIONS.

FUND-RAISING ACTIVITIES - INCLUDE SUMMER & CHRISTMAS FAIRS, CAROL CONCERT, QUIZ NIGHTS, FILM EVENING, EASTER RAFFLE, REFRESHMENT SALES ETC.

Winter fair, summer fair, sponsored events, cake & bake, discos, providing refreshments at concerts and shows, quiz evenings, 100 Club, thrift and ice cream sales

A volunteer Male Voice Choir, rehearsing and performing concerts mainly in the Somerset Area and Bath. Encouraging men of all ages to join and develop their singing skillsRaising money for local charities at our performances

Financial assistance to musical (especially choral music) causes.

Dragon Arts and Learning promotes social inclusion through arts and learning. We dare based at The Factory, Church Street, Pontardawe, Swansea SA8 4JB. From 10:00am to 10:00, five days a week we are able to host workshops which include ceramics, art therapy, music, ICT and other creative industries. We have a 'no exclusion' ethos which means everyone is welcome to participate in workshops.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public appreciation of brass band music, by the delivery of public concerts, musician personal development and support of local causes and initiatives in and around Bollington, Cheshire.

The objectives of the charity are: To advance the musical education of the public. To support any Charity or Charitable purpose as the committee shall from time to time direct. For 2009 this has consisted of public performances during the course of the year.

Provision of a brass band concerts

The Choir shall, promote,develop and maintain education in an appreciation of male voice choral music, by the presentation of public concerts for charity and/or reasons designated by its elected committee.

As a choral society we provide musical concerts for the public, to enable enhancement of their appreciation of music.

A choral society that will advance, improve, develop and maintain public appreciation of, and education in, the art and science of choral music in all its aspects, including by presentation of public concerts. The society encourages engagement from all citizens and is not discriminatory.

Performance each year of several concerts of choral music from a variety of periods, with particular specialization in works from the renaissance and early baroque. Organization of public workshops for singers and conductors interested in the above repertoire.Members of the Consort are also involved as volunteers in the running of the annual Brighton Early Music Festival.

Liverpool Brass Band aims to maintain, improve and advance the education of the public and its members through the promotion of education and appreciation of good music of all kinds amongst persons of all ages.

Provision of education and appreciation of music, drama and the performing arts.

The Lions Club raises funds by washing windscreens at a service area during the summer months,collecting at Tesco dressed as Father Christmas with many helpers, as well as variousfunctions during the year such as a Music Quiz,Easter Egg raffles and car boot sales. Every penny raised goes to good causes such as Sight First, Water Aid, Tacade and numerous contributions to help local youth.

Music. Rehearsal and performance of live orchestral music with local amateur musicians to local audiences.

The Tana Trust has helped in developing and making available to users, emergency call aids, commodes, plastic wheels for wheel chairs, knitting aids, an interface unit for blind telephone operators, a communicator to assist people with severe speech problems, two musical sound generators, cash dispensers and lifts for use by severely disabled persons.

Brass Band; senior band and training band

The objects of the Society are to educate the public in the arts and sciences, and in particular, the arts and science of the music of The Czech Republic and Slovakia, by the presentation of concerts, lectures and other activities.

To advance the education of children and young people between the ages of 6 and 21 years in particular but not exclusively through performance arts including dance, music, singing, drama and theatre.

Cornwall Music Festival is staged annually and includes both competitive and non-competitive classes for a diverse range of music and spoken word performances.

1. Promote the awareness, education and practise of brass band music through accomplished and development ensembles, particularly for students of brass instruments.2. Offer free access to ensemble playing for local under 18's and full time students.3. Promote brass band playing and music by visiting local schools, colleges, etc., public performances and charity concerts.

We support children and young people, primarily in Leicester and Leicestershire, in learning to play musical instruments and to sing and to take part in ensembles and concerts.
