Arts Charities That specialise in Music

To educate the public in the arts and sciences, and in particular the art of music by the presentation of concerts and other activities.

The band performs two or three formal concerts each year and a large number of open-air concerts in parks and other public places. It also encourages the work of new composers.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of choral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public choral concerts.

Approximately weekly rehearsals in the Oxford area with four concerts annually open to all members of the public.

The orchestra provides classical music education and fulfilment for amateur musicians and audiences through the vehicle of playing, and performing concerts in the Burnley area.

(1) To advance the Indian/Hindu culture for the benefit of the public through rituals, music, arts, dance,events, constructing and maintaining temples. (2) The relief of need, hardship and poverty. (3) The promotion, preservation and protection of good health and wellbeing. (4) To advance education through the promotion of the arts including dance and music.

Spreading the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ through sound biblical teaching, organising services in the church auditorium that is opened to all, teaching members on musical instruments and voice, christian counsellingetc

We are a mixed age choir and sing a variety of works, both choral and modern. We perform 3 public concerts a year in North Worcestershire.

The Purbeck Arts Choir, based in Swanage, Dorset, currently numbers over 60 singers of all abilities; there are no auditions, and is led by our inspiring musical director David Fawcett. At least two public concerts are held annually plus other musical events with the Purbeck Art Weeks and the local community and school children.

Provides an opportunity for amateur musicians to perform at an advanced level alongside a professional conductor and orchestral leader. Provides an opportunity for local soloists to play with the orchestra. Provides local composers to have their music performed. Supports composition students at local university.

The provision of instruments and training in the playing of Brass and Percussion Instruments to any member who requires it.To encourage and train young musiciansTo provide public performances and concerts and to offer its services from time to time to charitable organisations for a reduced fee or freely depending on the circumstances.

The committee held a range of fund raising events during the year which included a quiz night, a ball, grand draws and a Christmas Fayre, and music evening. We also take a supportive role at the college helping out at events if required.

The promotion of music

To promote high quality Chamber Music

We are an amateur choir drawing our membership from North East London, South West Essex, and South East Hertfordshire. We train singers at our weekly practices in Waltham Abbey and give monthly concerts: for private groups in Care Homes and Clubs, and for the general public in Churches, Halls etc. The latter are usually treated as fundraising events by the sponsoring organization.

Providing musical education for the Band's members through rehearsals and training days/weekends. Giving regular public concerts, many of them free, to educate and entertain the general public in music. Raising money for another music-related charity at our main annual concert. Visiting local schools to provide musical education for children.

Singing, Concerts and Shows

CitySound Voices is a medium-sized auditioned choir of about 30+ voices, based in the city of Bath. We rehearse weekly, and perform at least three public concerts of classical and light popular music a year. We like to work with school choirs and bands, and encourage young people to sing.

The objects of the Charity are1. to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public events2.to provide facilities which promote the practice or enjoyment of the art of music for recreation or other leisure time occupation

A traditional brass band training bandsmen of all ages, performing in public at local events and participating in competitions.

The community centre is a place where various activities are held - community activities, social group meetings, cultural activities, concerts, drama, eisteddfod, rehearsals, lectures, coffee mornings, fundraising activities, committee meetings, private functions, religious/ chapel associated meetings, educational/training activities

Shaldon Singers performs two concerts each year, one in May and the other in December, in St. Peter's Church, Shaldon, Teignmouth, Devon.Rehearsals for these events are held weekly, in termtime, in the church.

The performance of choral music in churches, concert halls and other suitable venues for the benefit, education and entertainment of all people, and to raise funds for chosen charities.

Our work centers around delivering community assistance on many levels. Our services include help for sick children diagnosed with cancer, giving support through our business Statement clothes. The Regeneration project supports people with diverse backgrounds to grow their talents through creative arts, music, dance and drama programs. We run business startup training, counsel and mentor programs
