Arts Charities That specialise in Music

The club is held on alternate weeks. It gives members an opportunity to play games and mix with others. The group takes part in a range of activities from bingo to arts & crafts. We have a snooker table, football table and music centre. So sometimes members boogie or just chat and join in the other activities. Drinks & snacks are provided. Performs two Classical Choral work concerts a year, in various local venues with guest soloists. With the aim of encouraging singers starting out on their musical careers. Joins with others in a Summer Proms concert. Rehearses weekly, on Thursday evenings for about twenty-four weeks a year at the Parish Centre of St Mary the Virgin Church, Dover to prepare for concerts.

The advancement of the education of the public in the study, practice and appreciation of music and the allied arts.

MEMF promotes the interest in, and practice of, "Early Music" within the Midlands area. This involves the organisation of regular workshops to play music. MEMF also produces regular Newsletters to keep members informed of activities and events that would interest them.

The Orlando Singers is a chamber choir specializing in the performance of western sacred music. The choir is based in Dorset. Most concerts are given within southern England, but the choir also performs on tour in Europe. In addition to concert activity, The Orlando Singers regularly substitutes for cathedral choirs throughout England and Wales, has broadcast on BBC Radio and has made three CDs.

Primarily a youth organisation providing skill training in a variety of areas including seamanship, athletics, expedition training, drill, band, boating and others. Members of the organisation are actively involved in the local community, providing music and support for events including remembrance day, and mayoral functions.

We run concerts festivals, club nights and events across the UK, alongside releasing music both physically and digitally.These activities are all in aid of raising funds to then provide grants to cancer research, treatment and care facilities across the UK. We target our grants toward non-profit organisations and non animal testing research.

Music Matters North East aims to raise funds and in-kind donations for the promotion of arts, particularly the arts of music, poetry, drama and dance for the public benefit in North East England. We will do this through the provision of community based interactive workshops in areas where public access to these arts is limited by geography, financial means or other restrictions.

Organising and presenting a festival of Early Music in Bristol annually or biennially

Selly Park Singers is choir of some 40 members, singing a range of classical, jazz and popular music. It is a non-audition choir. It has weekly rehearsals and performs concerts once or twice a year. We are based in south Birmingham.

Cantorion Phoenix Singers brings women together through singing. Based in Mountain Ash, RCT, we rehearse weekly to enable us to perform both free and ticketed concerts and events for the general public. We aim to provide well-being through music for our members and audiences, and to promote and continue the cultural heritage of women's choirs in Wales.

The Chanticleer Singers are based in Malton, North Yorkshire, and give concerts mainly in the Ryedale region, but have also sung in Scotland and abroad in Ireland and France.

We organise concerts and an open mike event featuring music in Cuckfield.

Provides opportunity for amateur singers to train together to perform at least three concerts per year within the community. Each concert also promotes and assists with fundraising for other local charities.

Cwmbran Baroque Singers present two major concerts in Cwmbran each year and perform at other venues in the area in support of local charities.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education of the art and science of choral music of all periods with particular emphasis on early music, suitable for a choir of limited size (max 36 members) by the presentation of public concerts and recitals.
