Arts Charities That specialise in Music

Bromley Oecumenical Singers has three concerts each year, two with the objective of donating money to other charities both local and national and the third to raise funds for the continuation of our fund raising activities. We also have two bursary funds for assisting young musicians, generally from a church background, to further their musical studies.

Provide facilities for local Community for Arts, Music, Theatre and film activities.

A local mixed adult choir, providing a good quality musical experience through weekly rehearsals and public concerts, all within an equal opportunities framework.

To provide funds for charitable purposes with preference being given to:- 1. The raising of artistic taste of the public, whether in relation to music, drama, opera, painting, sculpture or other fine arts; 2. The promotion of education in the fine arts, academic education or Christian religion; 3. The provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation.

Music concert performances to raise funds and support Help for Heroes

Mount Kelly Choral Society gives people in the Tavistock area the opportunity to participate in a choir putting on public performances of choral music and to enjoy those performances at affordable cost. It is an inclusive, non-auditioned community choir.

Fordingbridge Choral Society advances public education and appreciation of music through the presentation of public concerts and recitals. It promotes the practice and enjoyment of music for recreation, holding 35-40 rehearsals a year, for members to learn about music and improve their skills. 'Come and Sing' events invite potential members to make and learn about music.

Weekly singing classes in Durham. Occasional workshops for members of the community. Concerts for other charitable purposes.

We provide a central hub for the UK music sector.We receives one-off and annual donations and, in some cases, a commitment to contribute a minimum of 0.1% of turnover or profit per year to ensure continued support for the for the sector.All funds raised are invested into initiatives which aim to improve the mental health and well-being of individuals working in the UK music sector.

We are a self-help educational and social organisation for retired and semi-retired. We offer a range of groups and activities such as: music discovery; french; spanish; book club; french reading; law, art; art appreciation; Upwords; Mah Jong; Rummikub; history; architecture; poetry & plays; film club; science & technology; philosophy.

We do provide our service users who are disadvantaged Black ethnic minority resident in London with education and employment training, advice and counseling on health matters, housing, dept, music, art, sport and physical activities, awareness on drug and alcohol, guns and knives.

The Society encourages and provides facilities for members of the public, with the aid of a Musical Director, to learn Choral music of various types and eras for their enjoyment and entertainment, and aims to perform at least two public performances each year in the District or Town of Bungay, Suffolk.

Delivery of interactive music and movement classes, to children who are under the designated UK compulsory school age. Professional theatre practitioners deliver the educational activity in nurseries, community venues and public libraries. The charity also delivers theatre shows, which are aimed at musical, creative and cognitive development of children, and the advancement of the arts.

Run weekly orchestras in Wiltshire for string players from the age of 4 upwards.Workshops run by international musicians from different fields of music.Easter chamber and orchestral courses and Summer art and chamber/orchestral courses for 4-18 year old string players.All courses are fun using lots of differents styles of music;movement and singing.

Village Hall. Provides facilities for village organisations, eg. amateur drama group, indoor bowling, Art Group, Village Band rehearsals, functions and social events such as birthday parties, concerts, barn dances. Used as Council and General election centre and venue for public meetings. The hall is also a promoter for Arts Alive shows.

The Society seeks to increase public awareness of Sir Lennox Berkeley and his music, to advance the public's knowledge of his life and works and to encourage and support live performances, and recordings, of his works.

The object of the Festival is to advance the education of the public in the Arts, in particular the Arts of Music, Speech and Drama. The Festival promotes its object by holding annual competitions and a subsequent concert to promote items of merit.

A Mixed Chamber choir of twenty or so voices based at Peterborough Cathedral. The Choir performs concerts in and around Peterborough and occasionally combines with other choirs and orchestras for joint concerts. Services are regularly sung at Peterborough and other Cathedrals and music provided for society weddings.

Provides opportunities for local people to listen to live classical music performed by professional musicians. Mainly by arranging six concerts a year in Witney.
