We promote the love of classical music through our orchestral concerts

1) Winter chamber music concerts available for a) subscribing members. b) Ticket buying members of the general public. c) Free entry for all students. 2) Financial help towards music workshops for local schools.

We are a choir. We sing at weddings and funerals. We give concerts most terms. We sing beautiful music from all over the world. We usually ask for donations after each concert, rather than have a set ticket price, so as to make our concerts accessible to as many people as possible. We ask the audience to gift aid their donations where possible.

Parc & Dare founded in 1893 in Cwmparc in the Rhondda. Its successes are legendary inc. championship prizes, hundreds of concerts performances at home and abroad; been the focus of countless journal, press articles & amassing over 250 media broadcasts, numerous cds and recordings.The band promotes the art of music making provides learning and performing opportunities to all sectors and age groups.

Rehearsals every Thursday (during term time) for Young Strings, Wind Training Band, Concert Band and Symphony Orchestra. End of term concerts.

To employ Shakespeare and the works of other major dramatic/cinematic/musical writers/thinkers as a tool toward effective interaction in order to (a) create new work and (b) promote confidence through the will to dream for all.

The charity allows for the reunion of amateur musicians of varying levels of playing abilities and standards to rehearseorchestral music together in central London for a very affordable membership (or in some cases for free). We aim to make music accessible for musicians and audiences as we believe it generally improves the quality of life.

To bring together a diverse group of individuals to sing together as a Choir, performing concerts and fundraising events.

The Isle District Choral Society provides a service in a rural area for the continued improvement of a wide variety of both well known and contemporary composers. The society's aim is to encourage an appreciation of the arts through music. Rehearsals are held weekly throughout the school term and well attended concerts are performed for the general public at least three times per year.

The hall forms the heart of the community holding meetings, concerts, debates and social functions. Now the Ceiriog Memorial Institute Museum has been refurbished and consists of a display area for the many unique exhibits which have been donated to the institute since 1911.

Activities include training in the playing of brass instruments, both for young people and for adults who benefit from the continuing education this provides. The band also provides entertainment for the general public by giving concerts, including free kids' concerts and undertakes other public engagements, providing music for civic occasions and supporting fund-raising by other charities.

Supporting the activities of the Whitby Music Centre.Making bursaries available for the purchase of musical instruments / assisting with the cost of tuition fees, travel, etc.

The Choir exists to educate the Public in the art and science of choral music and to maintain the strong traditional art of Welsh Male Voice Choral Singing. In execution of this aim the choir provides it's services in fund raising concerts for various charitable organisations throughout the UK and Overseas.

The aim of the society is to promote the development and enjoyment of choral singing in West Cumbria. The society at present has only an adult choir, though young people 15/16 years of age would be welcome.Several concerts are given each year and opportunities are taken to use professional and semi-professional singers and musicians.

Concert promoter: classical/light classical, jazz etc. Soloists, duos, chamber groups, choirs, brass bands,orchestras, 'young musicians' concerts (North Somerset schools primarily). Member of "making music" (National Federation of Music Societies).

To practice music of varied genre & to perform this in concerts at various venues throughout Norfolk & Suffolk.

To engage artists for regular chamber concerts and to engage occasional jazz groups to entertain members and visitors.

Our charity is a christian religious organisation. our activities include our Sunday family service, Thursday bible sturdy, Friday prayer meeting. Saturday youth music practice, one a month married women session ( awareness raising, health living, cookery classes etc) every Saturday girls and boys bridgege for children between the age of 4- 16. coffee morning every Wednesday mornings

TO PROMOTE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF, THE ART AND SCIENCE OF ORCHESTRAL MUSIC.

Funds are raised through activities such as lunches and concerts as well as being supported by a local church. The funds are sent to a bank in Cape Coast Ghana for the use of a school in the village of Nkanfoa. The school is The Rev Alec Jones Memorial Methodist School and the church is Good Shepherd Methodist Church. The charity have trustees some of whom visit the school and church annually.

The promotion of music by Liszt

1. The promotion of the art of brass band music for the public benefit of people living in Lancaster and the surrounding area, including the supporting of and participation in community events, festivals and celebrations. 2. ?To advance the education of the general public in the playing of brass band music, by the provision of a learner band and a main band.

Originating from the Seaforth Highlanders Regimental Association, Leicester, where the regiment recruited widely during both world wars. Today the band exists to honour and remember those men of Leicestershire who served in the regiment and those died in conflict and to promote the education of the public in the highland arts, namely piping, drumming and highland dancing.
