Arts Charities That specialise in Music

To advance education in the area of Tunbridge Wells, in traditional Scottish Country Dancing: in particular by (a) preserving and furthering the practice of traditional Scottish country dances; (b) providing or assisting in providing instruction in the dancing of Scottish country dancing; (c) promoting the enjoyment and appreciation of Scottish country dancing and music by any suitable means.

The purpose/aims of the choir are to promote cultural enrichment of the community through the presentation of public concerts, music performances and workshops.

The Association offers advice to performers, teachers, students, churchmen and members of the public concerned with improvement in standards of performance, and in playing the organ. During each year we arrange lectures, visit organs, and demonstrate the organ.

To provide a festival environment for both young people and adults in music, singing, musical instruments, speech and drama on an annual basis so that the participants gain experience and enjoyment in the different performing arts. Classes are almost always competitive with the Festival bringing in professional adjudicators to develop talents and provide feedback.

The Cartesians Academy Supplementary School CASS took over the Glory of the Lord choir as amended. AIMS assists everyone with the necessary Education, ability, and experience to advance in professional Music and Football and secure public recognition in the community. Sound World activities fall into three basic categories.1. Music education - including composition workshops, talks & an annual competition for young composers.2. Music commissioning - working with a range of composers from young composers to those with international reputations.

The Mayor of Eastleigh's charity appeal raises money for different beneficiaries each year. The Mayor of Eastleigh for 2024/2025 is Councillor David Pragnell and his chosen charities are Centrestage Productions Youth Theatre and Eastleigh Operatic and Musical Society. The Mayor's Appeal for 2023/2024 raised £4000 for Citizens Advice Eastleigh.

A MIXED VOICE NON-AUDITION CHOIR OF 50 MEMBERS PROVIDING CONCERTS FOR THE PUBLIC WITH A LARGE REPERTOIRE FROM LARGE CHORAL WORKS WITH ORCHESTRA TO SONGS FROM MUSICALS AND OTHER PART SONGS. WE ARE A FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING SOCIETY.

A WIDE SCOPE OF INTELLECTUAL, RECREATIONAL AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES FOR RETIRED MEN AND WOMEN. E.G. WALKING, KEEP-FIT, MUSIC APPRECIATION, POETRY, PHILOSOPHY, ART E.T.C.

We are a small community choir in Northampton. We rehearse on a Tuesday evening in St Alban's Church Rooms in Mayfield Road and promote or sing un concerts each year in Northampton and the surrounding area. We sing in support of other charities and we offer free membership to students.

The provision of education by the giving of concerts and other musical activities

The National Youth Recorder Orchestras (NYRO) is an organisation dedicated to young people between the ages of 8 and 25 and exists to support, develop and nurture their recorder playing and give them opportunities to perform. As well as supporting their musical ambitions, NYRO gives them the chance to meet other young people, have new experiences and broaden their horizons.

To promote the art and science of Music by presentations of concerts and other activities. To raise funds and support any charitable trusts, associations and institutions, local and national and make any charitable donations as the committee shall ,from time to time determine.

The object of the society shall be to promote, develop, improve and maintain public education in and the appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other ways as the Society through its Committee shall determine from time to time.

The charity makes grants to young musicians to further their musical development. The charity has provided grants towards the cost of specialist tuition and to aid purchase of musical instruments. The charity's area of benefit is young people who are members of the CBSO Youth Orchestra.

Raises funds to support Chichester Cathedral for:The restoration, development and maintenance of the Cathedral. The promotion and improvement of the musical and educational facilities. The restoration, development and maintenance of other buildings in the Cathedral Close. Such other charitable objects and charitable activities as are normally undertaken by the Dean and Chapter.
