Arts Charities That specialise in Music

Our PTFA consists of a group of parents, staff and friends of the school who join together to hold events throughout the year. The money that we raise is used to purchase resources and experiences that benefit all of our pupils. Recent purchases include musical instruments, a Christmas pantomime and home/school planners for every child. We also help to build links with the local community.

WI advances the education of women in local,national issues. In music ,drama, and culture, crafts, home economics, science, health , social welfare. Educating women in preservation and protection of the environment advancement of health for the public benefit and the advancement of citizenship by the promotion of civic responsibility and volunteering.

THE ACTIVITIES ARE : MOTHER TONGUES CLASSES, MUSIC AND DRAMA CLASSES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE BETWEEN 8 - 19 YEARS OLD, OUTREACH SERVICES FOR FRENCH SPEAKING, TRAINING ON HEALTH ISSUES AND HEALTH FITNESS FOR WOMEN/girls.PROVISION OF INFORMATION AND SUPPORT FOR THE FRENCH GROUPS ON HEALTH, WELFARE RIGHTS, AND SIGN POSTING TO LOCAL AUTHOGreenwich, Bexley and Lewisham are our geagraphique area of work.

Building Futures Together is a small charity, who aims to advance the education of pupils at Kite Ridge School and improve the quality-of-life experience for young people with disabilities in High Wycombe and local areas. One of the experiences provided by the organisation is KiteFest, a charity music festival that is primarily for children and young people with disabilities within Buckinghamshire

Main activites were School discos and musical function night all involving the children of the school. We also raised funds by a copper coin collection and a sponsered walk.

The friends help Kent Music School to run their Medway Towns Music Centre. The friends of MTMC provide helpers, music, instruments, music equipment such as stands, run a reedshop & tuckshop and provide theory & aural booster classes and bursaries.

The Friends of Tees Valley Youth Orchestra advance the education of the public by supporting and assisting the activities of the Tees Valley Youth Orchestra, a youth orchestra forming part of the Tees Valley Music Service.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of brass, percussion and wind music in all aspects by the provision of training, practical advice & support including the loan of musical instruments, the presentation of public concerts.

Approximately 55 members of ages between 16 & 80 yrs make up Stourport Choral. The choir performs concerts in a wide range of musical styles from light to serious opera, classical to modern choral & including music from popular shows. This friendly group's commitment is to provide live quality entertainment in a socially active atmosphere. We rehearse each Wed at 7.30pm, at Areley Kings Hall

SAWBA organises rehearsals and performs concerts to further the art of wind band playing for the enjoyment of wind instrument and percussion players of all ages. It provides musical support to the Stratford-upon-Avon community participating in civic events and fund raising events for local charities and organisations.

The objects of the Society are to educate the public in the art and science of music by presentation of concerts and other activities.

We are a charity run by parents and teachers on a voluntary basis to raise money for the benefit of pupils. We have spent money on reading books, topic workshops, music lessons, outdoor area and IT equipment. We also make a contribution to reduce the cost of whole school trips. We hold events including school discos, fetes, DVD nights, cake sales, Mothers Day sale.

We organise a subscription series of six chamber music concerts each year from October to March. Prior to the pandemic, many of our visiting artists also visited local schools, mainly primary, to give educational workshops.

The Choir this year performed no concerts this year The Choir was unable to recruit A new Musical Directorand our accompanist retired.

An organisation that exists to bring unity among the diverse societies and cultures across our world through the gospel. we aim to promote the gospel and advance the Christian faith, spreading a message of unity, hope and faith, through its musical concerts, crusades, and its involvement in charity work to make an impact on the inner London communities.

the premises are hired out to the Church, Young Farmers, School, Childrens Badminton classes, Childrens parties, Music, Radnor Band of which some are at reduced rates.

Choir members meet weekly in order to rehearse for at least 3 concert performances a year. Income is raised from their annual subscription and concert tickets sold to the general public. Concert programmes generally consist of sacred and a cappella music. These activities raise public and choir members' awareness and enjoyment of these genres and improve members' singing and sight-reading skills.

To promote amateur flute playing by flautists of all ages for the public benefit by the provision of rehearsals and public performance of flute ensemble music of a high standard for both adults and young people. To provide educational musical opportunities for flautists, teachers and musicians of all ages by the provision of performing ensembles and workshops by professional musicians and teachers

We perform various concerts for the public. The two main concerts are the Winter/Festive concert in late November and the Spring Big Blow Out Concert late March. We also now have three regular events in the run up to Christmas: Lights to Remember with Marie Curie West Midlands, Carols at Morisson's in Sheldon and a Christmas Carol Service at St. Margaret's Olton.

The Music Troupe exists for the advancement of the arts through the promotion and presentation of classical music, in particular, but not limited to, new works and small-scale opera for the benefit of the general public.

Undertake activities to enable women interested in issues associated with rural life, to improve their education in citizenship, public questions, music, culture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare and to improve rural life.

Activities cater for children, families, elderly people and sports groups, including dance and sewing classes, musical events, as well as providing a local venue for public meetings. Use of the centre allows groups to bid for grants that support their provision.
