We perform extracts or full performances of the Gilbert & Sullivan operas and stage a concerts, and support local charities from our profits. Our Christmas carol concerts are always in support of the local Macmillan Cancer Trust.

Helping financially with the maintenance and improvement of church bell installations in the geographical county of Surrey, by collecting money for such purposes and liaising with the bellringers of the churches where such services are required.

To maintain a Community Choir in Clare, Suffolk and in addition to encourage and facilitate personal creativity and musical education through the shared experience of singing together.

In 2018/19, Artsfest, the society's major annual event mounted exhibitions, concerts, films, workshops and master classes. These included a very successful Summer Exhibition and Christmas Art Market in Tregwynt mansion and shows by members . Again the Big Draw was held as well as a flourishing programme of Life Drawing classes.

My Body is My Body Programme is an internationally acclaimed body safety program using music to educate and empower adults and children on child abuse prevention. Distributed in 60 plus countries worldwide, it offers a free resource for communities, parents, teachers, and carers. Our mission is to stop child abuse through positive, non threatening education.

Whaley Bridge Band is a local village band who perform concerts at various venues within the High Peak throughout the year.

The advancement of education through the promotion of The Arts in general and more specifically:To support individual and/or groups of Artistes with their artistic delivery. To provide opportunities for Artistes to perform or exhibit. To increase awareness, understanding and appreciation of The Arts in the community. To provide education in and experience of The Arts in the community.

Raising funds to support the broader curriculum for pupils, including music, free play and school trips. We are focusing on fundraising for equipment for children in Key Stage 1 aged 5 to 7. This follows our funding of trail equipment for Key Stage 2 children which pupils, staff and parents adjudge an outstanding success in helping the children's physical, behavioural and intellectual development.

The band plays at local events including fetes, concerts, special events and church services.

Furthering the religious work of the Collegiate Church of St Peter, Wolverhampton by assisting, maintaining and supporting its choral tradition and by assisting in the care and maintenance of its organ.

To enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life including arts, crafts and sciences to improve and develope conditions of rural life, to advance their education and citizenship in public questions both national and international, in music, drama and other cultural subjects.

We are an amateur symphony orchestra offering an opportunity to play works from the classical repertoire to players of all ages and enthic backgrounds from within the local community. We put on three concerts per year to which members of the general public are encouraged to attend on purchase of moderately priced tickets.
