Organisation of visits to instruments, advice and education to organists and others with the object of furthering knowledge and appreciation of the organ and its music including its liturgical use

School PTFA group - raising money to enhance the schools curriculum (eg. providing funds for PE equipment, whiteboards, camera's, musical instruments). Also providing funds for outside school activities (eg. clown shows, Easter trail).

We are a village run baby and toddler group, catering for 0-4 year olds.We run in term time, every Wednesday morning from 9.30am-11.30am.Our activities include craft table - themed each week, role play, home corner, sing-a-long music time, dressing up, small world, baby area for pre-walkers and soft play area.

Provides financial support to St Margaret's Church of England Primary School. Typically routine expenditure involves music lessons, musical instruments and Bibles for school-leavers. Occasional donations from this charity may be made to assist with significant items of capital expenditure

Promotion of singing and music to the general public by helping support the concerts performed by the Salford Choral Society.

PROMOTE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF CHORAL MUSIC BY THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS AND BY SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE COMMITTEE SHALL DETERMINE

The main purposes of the WI are to enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life, including arts, crafts and sciences, to improve and develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, in public questions both national and international, in music, drama and other cultural subjects and in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home and economics.

We raise money to support young people with mental health issues. We do this by holding music events in Nottingham. We also organise other activities such as sponsored marathons and corporate events. We currently support OPUS which is an organisation that goes into hospitals to work with patients by engaging them in high quality music activities to the benefit of their health and wellbeing.

The study and practice of handbell ringing in order to foster the public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performances

The charity provides practical support to young musicians who play stringed instruments in Hafren Youth Strings ensembles.It raises funds to enable members to take part in weekly rehearsals, attend special workshops and perform in public concerts.

Provide a hospital radio service. Raising funds for the radio station. Train and encourage young students on using and helping to maintain the service. Close links with local secondary schools and university. Interlink with other external organisations to do recordings of concerts, interviews, etc.

Kadam supports and mentors amateur and professional dancers and musicians; promotes dance and music performances and publishes Pulse the leading UK magazine for South Asian dance and music.

To advance education of young people between the ages of 4 and 16 years in the north west through the performance arts including but not exclusively drama dance and music.

Managed by a group of volunteers, St Martin Parish Hall is maintained for use by members of the public on a self-sufficient basis. Regular hirers include: Church meetings/fund raising events, polling station, private childrens parties. Unsuitable for indoor sports or concerts. The main purpose of the WI is to enable women interested in arts, crafts and sciences to advance their education in citizenship, in public questions, in music, drama and other cultural subjects and in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare. The WI gives women the opportunity of working together to put into practice those ideals for which it stands.

THE MAIN OBJECT OF OUR MOVEMENT IS TO GIVE TUITION ON THE READING OF MUSIC AND THE ART OF PLAYING A BRASS BAND INSTRUMENT THE AIM THEN IS TO TAKE PART IN BRASS BAND CONTESTS IN OUR AREA, ALSO SUPPLY MUSIC FOR OUTDOOR CONCERTS IN PARKS AND ATTEND FETES, CARNIVALS AND PLAY CHRISTMAS CAROLS IN OUR TOWN.

Financial support for the musical activities of the members of Hertfordshire County Youth Music Groups e.g. for attendance at courses or for instrument use. From 21st October 2009 incorporated the Brenda Kitchingman Foundation, also known as BKF, which functions within the framework and objectives of the Friends.

Amaka Beautiful Child empowers young people to find their own voice through music, poetry, arts and drama. It does this by: Promoting the art of story-telling. Enabling young people to reflect on the past, assert themselves in the present, and build for the future.

Fundraising activities in the community including carnivals, sponsored sporting events, quizes, concerts and coffee mornings.

HOLDING REGULAR WORSHIP SERVICES TO PROMOTE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN THE COMMUNITY.OUR MUSIC RECORDING STUDIO IS ALWAYS OPEN.WE ORGANISE VARIOUS ACTIVITIES ACROSS THE GLOBE,SUCH AS MUSIC FESTIVALS AND CONFERENCES.WE ALSO ASSIST YOUNG PEOPLE ATTAIN THEIR POTENTIAL AND TAKE THEIR PLACE WITHIN SOCIETY AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS . TO THIS END,WE ENGAGE THE YOUTH IN VARIOUS ACTIVITIES.

A local community brass band based in Portishead playing concerts for the public to further the playing of brass instruments in the area
