Member bands of South West Brass Band Association are invited to nominate musical directors or players for financial assistance in attending approved courses of musical instruction.

Two main annual fundraising activities during a year are an annual luncheon and a concert. Other events may be arranged.

Music at Plush is committed to advancing the education of the public in the art of music. The festival provides a community for musicians, audiences and volunteers, in a location of great natural beauty and cultural stimulation. Concerts and educational events take place in a former church turned performance space, for use by the inhabitants of Plush and the neighbourhood.

Centred around the village church of St James, Biddenham. The Charity has in the past provided funding for the provision of new hymn books, items for use in the eucharist, maintenance of the church bells, organ and decoration of the interior of the Church.

PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL EVENTS TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE OF ALL AGES TO PLAY THE ORGAN, AND TO GAIN A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF ORGAN MUSIC, THE DESIGN AND BUILDING OF ORGANS, THE TECHNIQUE OF PLAYING THE ORGAN AND THE ROLE OF ORGAN MUSIC FOR LITURGICAL AND CONCERT USE.

Small grants (·25) to village children leaving primary school. Small grants in response to requests from local primary school/nursery for educational items eg. hymn books.

Supports educational and community based activities with a particular emphasis on state education. Current priority is to build an international concert hall in a comprehensive school but available for community use. This hall opened in November 2013.

The Anglo-American Music Trust was founded in 1987 with the special objective of furthering the cause of American music in Great Britain. These objectives have included supporting live performances, recordings, publications, lectures and recitals and awarding study grants, bursaries and scholarships. The Trust has also supported new commissions and U.K. premieres of American compositions.

Responsible for management and upkeep of Playing Fields, Playgrounds (both young and older children) Provision of activities throughout the year for all age groups and interests including:Outdoor: Family Fun Days, Annual Duck Race, Sporting Activities for local Youth.Indoor : Quiz nights, Family Activitiy Evenings, Concerts, Family Disco's ,Spiritual Evenings and Christmas Carol Concerts.

A fortnightly social meeting for older people who may be feeling isolated or lonely & those who have experienced mental or general health problems and disabilities & need support. Activities include craft, games, musical entertainment, talks, gentle exercise and the occasional outing.

Raising awareness through conferences, seminars, presentations and special events which are led by experts in Sickle Cell Disorders. Disseminating information via publications to GPs, schools, employers and other organisations. Fundraising events e.g. concerts, sponsored activities, writing bids.

To advance the education of the public in the history of military and police bands by the establishment, improvement and maintenance of an archive collection of articles, artefacts, music, information and related itemsWe are presently cataloguing the collection by means of archiving and digitalizing the whole collection to make it more available locally and worldwide through the internet

Gives a Grant to a small concert hall

To assist in the development, restoration and repair of Portsmouth Anglican Cathedral: to help develop the artistic and musical life of the Cathedral and to promote the advancement of education and training in music of children and support other artistic or musical endeavour and events for young people.

The charity's aims are to improve the standard of guitar teaching in this country, and to widen general interest in guitar playing. These aims are pursued through an annual conference, regional meetings, master classes, and the National Youth Guitar Ensemble. Other activities include the production of newsletters and journals, and the promotion of new music for the instrument.

We hold one religious service each month. We also provide a venue for local homeless organisations to hold gatherings. We are used by local theatre companies, music organisations and visual artists as a venue. We open regularly for visits by schools and local history groups.

Provision of church bellringing and the welfare and training of church bellringers

Fund raises money to provide Hospice Day Care to adult patients suffering from life-limiting illness and bereavement service to all ages and to provide extra facilities for benefit of patients which are not already provided by Hywel Dda U.H.B.Hold coffee mornings, concerts etc. for fund-raising and publicise palliative care service through local papers, leaflets, etc.

To advance the musical education of young tuba players up to the age of seventeen. This includes, but is not limited to, providing small grants for study courses and assisting with lessons and masterclasses.

The charity's objects are to promote and assist in the advancement of musical education and to foster and increase the appreciation and understanding of the art of music in all its forms. It seeks to celebrate and promote the value and enjoyment of music, which contributes, in all its forms, to the cultural, spiritual, educational, social and economic well being of the UK.
