The WUBC enables the facilitation and provision of commemorative events, artwork, music, talks, research and educational resources focused on the history of the weavers risings of the 1820s in Lancashire. Activities: Music especially singing, has the power to help unlock memories. The Butterfly Cafe, gives the opportunity for people to meet in a safe environment and to feel included. These events are held monthly at the Victoria Rooms Fordingbridge. We are in the process of developing a Befriending Service for people in the Ringwood, Fordingbridge and surrounding areas.
