Arts Charities That specialise in Musical theatre

Staging local theatrical productions involving its members and other local people, including children. These productions include musicals, plays and operetta. The society aims to improve and educate the public taste in these arts with the object of raising funds to be devoted solely to charitable purposes.

TO CREATE, TEACH, ENCOURAGE AND DELIVER MUSICAL AND PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES TO ADULTS OF ALL AGES IN OUR COMMUNITY

Drama group, specialising in production and performance of pantomime, musical theatre, and concerts.

The Orchestra will general 3 public concerts each year. Concert proceeds may go to another charity (e.g. previously St Peter's Hospice and Save The Children have been chosen). Additionally the Orchestra may provide players from its sections to perform in groups for school musicals and other public events during the course of the year.

The cultivation of the Arts and Musical Drama and the encouragement of public appreciation of these Arts.

Performing musical theatre productions.

The objects of the Charity are to educate the public in the dramatic, musical and operatic arts, to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said arts and to assist and further such charitable purposes as the committee shall from time to time determine.

Amateur Theatre Performances performed in the Village of Fleckney. These include pantomimes, musicals, plays and cabaret performance.

Amateur Operatics

The Friends of Centre Stage exists to ensure all children and young adults can access the wonderful world of musical theatre at, or through, Centre Stage Theatre Academy (CSTA). We provide equipment and funding to CSTA to enhance their offering to all students as well as grant funding for those who would otherwise be unable to afford to attend.

TEACHING ADULTS AND CHILDREN ALL ASPECTS OF THE PERFORMING ARTS AND FACILITATING THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SAME TO THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, OTHER ORGANISATIONS AND CHARITIES.

Provide entertainment - singing/dancing/musicals for the general public.

The object of the society, is to educate the public in dramatic, musical and theatrical arts.

We work to break down barriers of inclusions by bringing amateur productions of musical theatre, theatrical performances operettas & light opera to the local community and improve confidence, ability and a sense inclusion.

The performance of amateur musical theatre in the Chichester district including at least one major musical per year and a number of concerts supporting local events and charities.

WORKING TOGETHER TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE, TO PRODUCE A PROGRAMME OF DRAMA AND MUSICAL THEATRE PRODUCTIONS IN WHICH MEMBERS PARTICIPATE

To educate the public in the dramatic and operatic arts and to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said arts.

Groby Sings is a large community choir in Groby, near Leicester, for adults and children of any ability or experience. We especially welcome anyone who is socially isolated. We sing songs from musicals and other popular songs in weekly rehearsals leading up to concerts at the local college. Cake and conversation help us to relax and have fun. Arrangement of cultural activities - visits to shows (musicals, drama, opera, ballet, etc) or outings to places of interest. Functions may be arranged such as a jazz night, a topical quiz, book sale, etc. A monthly magazine circulated to all members and contains details of our shows & events & diary note of all other local functions notified to us by any other local 'not for profit' groups.

The study and performance of operatic works, musicals and musical comedies.To cultivate the arts of opera and musical comedy, and to improve and educate the public taste in those arts.To raise funds and invite and receive contributions from any person, or persons whatsoever by way of subscriptions, donations and otherwise.Support other local charities and arts related organisations.

Amateur dramatics- The Society's annual production in2017 was "The Wizard of Oz" The AGM was held in the Pennington Memorial Church Room, Kendal on the 19th March 2018. The death of Susan Scott-Stephenson was reported and Audrey Ireland was unable to continue as a Trustee . The remaining Trustees were re-elected. The Accounts for the year ended 31st January 2018 were presented and accepted
