BYMT is the UK's national organisation providing musical theatre activities for young people across the UK. It is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation (NPO). Provision of educational services to 4-18 years old in Performing Arts.This includes working with a number of bodies to provide examinations in the Performing Arts in all forms of dance, musical theatre, Lamda, DDE and BTEC.

To operate as an amateur theatrical society based at the Tower Theatre in Folkestone Kent; to present a varied and high quality programme of amateur plays and musicals; to encourage outside shows to hire the theatre for their presentations; to involve a wide range of Folkestone residents with the theatre, both as audience and as active participants.
